===Eps.1===
Eun-min, a senior in high school, goes to the library to borrow a legal dictionary for her sister who is a scenario writer. While she is looking for the book she finds Tae-kyeong taking a nap, using the book as a pillow. He helps her check out the book and they go out to dinner together. He introduces himself as a law student and she lies 새 him, saying she’s a scenario writer. Eun-min ends up losing the dictionary and goes back to Tae-kyeong’s school.
Meanwhile, Tae-hee is unhappy about Hee-soo, her sister-in-law, who cleaned her room without permission. Hee-jeong is upset about Tae-hee being irritated by her sister Hee-soo, who her in-laws are supporting…

===Eps. 2===
When Tae-kyeong’s former tutoring student, Young-shim, chases after him. He asks Eun-min to act like his girlfriend. Eun-min willingly accepts his request. Young-shim, jealous of the two of them, pours juice on Eun-min.
In the meantime, Young-min is appalled when she arrives at Eun-joo’s workroom. Although the filthy workroom seems totally unsuitable for a woman, with underwear lying around everywhere, Eun-joo doesn’t seem to mind a bit.
Tae-kyeong goes to a clothing shop to buy new clothes for Eun-min, who is drenched with juice. The two get better acquainted with each other and find out that they live in the same town and head home together. At home, they are both happy thinking of one another...

===Eps. 3===
Eun-min meets up with Tae-kyeong at his school and they have a fun date on campus. They escape a sudden rain shower, which allows them to grow more affectionate for each other. Eun-joo who comes back to her workroom from shopping with her mom and is surprised to find that it has been cleaned up by Young-min. Eun-joo’s pride gets a bit hurt when she sees his meticulous personality and outstanding potential as a writer. Meanwhile, Eun-min, on her way to school dressed in her school uniform, comes across Tae-kyeong by chance...

===Eps. 4===
Tae-kyeong is dumbfounded to see Eun-min in her school uniform. Eun-min is very embarrassed and feels hurt when he gives her a pat on the head. In the meantime, Eun-min’s mother starts looking for a tutor for her as her grades keep falling. Hee-jeong, seeing Eun-min’s mother asking around for a tutor, carefully mentions her brother-in law. Not wanting the things thrown out by Eun-min’s mother to go to waste and seeing that they still seem usable, Hee-jeong brings them home.

===Eps. 5===
Eun-min calls up Tae-kyeong, but he just laughs at her, advising her to study hard. Tae-hee, who was quarreling with her father about her allowance, reveals her innermost feelings of grief. Meanwhile, Hee-jeong and Hee-soo make preparations for their mother’s ancestor worship but have to give up their plan when some trouble arises in the household.
After class, Eun-min decides to go clubbing to refresh her mind and gets changed with her friends…

===Eps. 6===
Eun-min’s mother is distressed when Eun-min returns home smelling of alcohol, Despite still being in high school. After scolding Eun-min, her mother announces that she will make Eun-min receive private tutoring lessons.
Meanwhile, Hee-jeong introduces her brother-in-law Tae-kyeong as a tutor to Eun-min’s family. When Tae-kyeong finds out about Hee-jeong working as a housemaid secretly to support his household he feels hurt. While unpacking the things she brought home from Eun-min’s house, Hee-jeong is surprised to find a golden toad in an accessories box. Tae-hee’s eyes flash when she sees the golden toad…

===Eps. 7===
Tae-hee runs away from home with the golden toad she took from home without telling Hee-jeong. Hee-jeong begs her mother-in-law to find the golden toad and weeps inconsolably about how she has done everything she could to support her hard living conditions. Meanwhile, Eun-min’s mother, who was looking for a tutor to help send Eun-min to college, invites Tae-kyeong, introduced by Hee-jeong, to her house …

===Eps. 8===
Eun-min’s mother tells Tae-kyeong to use a Spartan method with Eun-min so she can make it at least to a 2-year college. After showing her report card to Tae-kyeong and receiving the worst humiliation ever, Eun-min submits to her studies. In the meantime, Tae-kyeong’s mother convinces Hee-jeong to remain quiet about the golden toad. Tae-kyeong and Eun-min build up their relationship by sending video clips to each other over the cell phone…

===Eps. 9===
Tae-kyeong and Eun-min become a step closer by sharing an umbrella on a rainy day. Tae-kyeong starts to see Eun-min more as a woman and starts to feel confused.
Tae-hee, who has run away from home, calls Tae-soo and tells him to pay the price for the golden toad she has sold. Though Tae-soo and Hee-jeong have a big fight over this, their love grows even stronger. Meanwhile, Eun-joo and Tae-kyeong decide to go watch a movie together over the weekend…

===Eps. 10===
Eun-min makes a sudden appearance at the movie theater where Tae-kyeong and Eun-joo are supposed to meet, and sits right between Eun-joo and Tae-kyeong to watch the movie.
Tae-soo wants to pay off the golden toad with the deposit of his shop, Which Hee-jeong finds deeply moving. The two dine out together with Hee-soo and shar a wonderful evening. Eun-min’s mother and In-sook find the missing golden toad in the jeweler’s shop in town by chance…

===Eps. 11===
Hee-jeong sheds silent tears after getting kicked out by Eun-min’s mother in front of Tae-kyeong.
Tae-kyeong, feeling troubled, says to Eun-min’s mother that she should be more sympathetic and forgive Hee-jeong. Meanwhile, Tae-kyeong and his father stop by at the wholesale market. It hurts Tae-kyeong to watch his father not being able to get goods due to the delayed payments. He leaves not being able to stand watching his father’s helpless presence in front of the wholesale owner…

===Eps. 12===
Eun-joo gives a big welcome to Ki-hoon, who comes to visit her at the workroom. Young-min, seeing this, gets angry at Eun-joo, but she ignores him. Young-min later kicks Ki-hoon out when he starts snoring.
Tae-soo’s family spends a peaceful evening by holding a barbecue party with the pork Tae-soo bought. Hee-jeong happy watching her family but starts to feel nauseous when she tries to lift a tray of watermelon. In the meantime, Eun-joo feels more and more drawn to Tae-kyeong and the two go home after drinking together. Eun-min gets mad seeing Eun-joo and Tae-kyeong on such good terms and throws Tae-kyeong’s shoes in front of a dog.

===Eps. 13===
Eun-joo and Tae-kyeong end up sleeping in the same room after drinking all through the night. Eun-min sees this and throws Tae-kyeong’s shoes that were left inside the room into the lake. After searching for his shoes, Tae-kyeong ends up going home wearing women’s sandals.
Eun-min, mad at Tae-kyeong, goes dancing with her friends instead of attending her tutoring lesson. Tae-kyeong waits for Eun-min while trying and failing to get a hold of her. Meanwhile, due to pressure from her friends, Eun-min goes to buy cigarettes at Tae-kyeong’s store. But Tae-kyeong’s father catches her after seeing the student ID in her purse…

===Eps.14===
Eun-joo gets into a fight with Young-min over some problems about a movie scenario. After getting a phone call from Tae-kyeong, who has been worrying about Eun-min, she goes out to find her.
Tae-kyeong’s father has Eun-min sit in front of their store with her hands raised for trying to buy cigarettes while being under age. Tae-kyeong’s father goes to Eun-min’s house to meet her mother, where he happens to see Hee-jeong.
Tae-kyeong’s father finds out about Tae-hee’s mishap while arguing with Eun-min’s mother. He is shocked at finding out about everything and orders Tae-hee to come to the house. Hee-jeong, who has been watching all this, suddenly faints.

===Eps.15===
Young-min starts to get upset after seeing Eun-joo and Ki-hoon so close, and Ki-hoon, seeing this, starts to sense Young-min’s feelings toward her.
Meanwhile, Hee-jeong is rushed into the emergency room but unfortunately has a miscarriage. Hee-soo hears about her sister’s miscarriage and starts blaming Tae-soo for what has happened.
After returning home Tae-hee gets dragged over to Eun-min’s house by Tae-kyeong’s father to meet Eun-min’s mother. When they get there Tae-kyeong’s father, mother and Tae-hee all get down on their knees and ask her to forgive them, while Tae-kyeong, who has just finished tutoring, sees his family on their knees asking for forgiveness.

===Eps. 16===
Though Tae-hee has returned home from the hospital she doesn’t say a word to Hee-jeong and goes right into doing the all the housework as always.
Tae-kyeong feels down after seeing his family beg for forgiveness on their knees, and Eun-min, having no idea why he is being so cold-hearted towards her, starts to feel upset at his attitude.
Eun-min buys Tae-kyeong a new pair of shoes and goes to his school to give it to him, but she gets her feelings hurt and starts crying when he scolds her for her actions.

===Eps. 17===
Tae-kyeong’s mother starts to feel a grudge toward her husband for treating their daughter with such a cold heart, but instead she starts blaming Hee-jeong and scolding her. Just then Tae-soo comes home and tells his mother to stop blaming Hee-jeong for everything.
While staging a hunger strike to gain her independence Tae-hee, by chance, helps In-sook and Eun-min’s mom make-up after a quarrel, and Hee-jeong goes back to Eun-min’s house to work for them.
While Hee-soo is standing at a bus stop on her way back from school she sees Hee-jeong laying bricks on the sidewalk.

===Eps. 18===
Seeing Hee-jeong working before being able to fully recover from her miscarriage, Hee-soo gets angry and tells her sister to get a divorce and move in with her. Hee-jeong feels thankful yet sorry at the same time for her sister’s concern towards her. Tae-kyeong’s mother pretends she is leaving the house in order to make it easier for Tae-hee to move out and live on her own. She hides in the storage room of the store but her husband doesn’t seem to care about it at all.
Meanwhile, Eun-min and Tae-kyeong send text messages to each other until she gets caught by her teacher.

===Eps. 19===
Eun-min reads a manuscript written by Young-min and feels proud about it, but soon falls asleep on a bed. The next day she wakes up surprised and realizes that she thinks of Young-min as her junior and nothing else.
Tae-kyeong’s father gives into his wife’s hunger strike and lets Tae-hee move out and have her independence. He also tells her to not even lay one foot in the house until she is able to publish her own book.
While Eun-min, who has been falling more in love with Tae-kyeong, is getting tutored, she suddenly tells him that she is going to get married as soon as she graduates.

===Eps. 20===
Eun-min makes lunch for Tae-kyeong and goes to school but sees him eating lunch with Hee-soo and bursts out with anger. Hee-soo, seeing this young high-school girl trying to act like an adult, finds it quite amusing.
While cleaning the closet in Eun-min’s mother’s room Hee-jeong finds a picture of Eun-min and her husband. Eun-min’s mom sees this picture and starts to become sad with thoughts of her own husband.
Meanwhile, Tae-kyeong and Eun-min are riding the subway when she sees her father selling stuff.

===Eps. 21===
Hee-soo starts missing her mother when she sees Tae-hee and her mother together, and Hee-jeong feels bad when Tae-kyeong’s mother packs food for Tae-hee to take with her.
Eun-min leaves school early and goes back to the subway station where she saw her dad. Tae-kyeong helps her and they give their number to all the people they see selling stuff on the subway and to the public duty personnel and ask them to help find her dad.
Tae-kyeong and Eun-min go to a DVD room to watch a movie when they get caught by the police who have came out to stop minors from coming to these rooms.

===Eps. 22===
Eun-min gets caught by the police for going to a DVD room and gets taken to the police station where her mom comes to pick her up. When Eun-min’s mom gets there she yells at Tae-kyeong and scolds him, but instead of causing her to hate him it makes them get even closer.
In-sook feels sorry for her daughter-in-law because she has to take care of her children while her husband is in prison and for their poor living conditions. She goes to her sister’s house to ask her if she can borrow some money but stops at the door and doesn’t know if she should ask her or not.
Meanwhile, Eun-joo wakes up surprised that she is touching Young-min’s chest, and starts to feel a strange feeling towards him.

===Eps. 23===
After sleeping on the same bed, Eun-joo and Young-min start to have a different feeling towards each other and Ki-hoon, watching the two, begins to understand their feelings for each other.
Hee-jeong feels something strange when she sees Tae-kyeong and Eun-min together and Tae-kyeong suggests to Eun-min’s mom that she not be so emotional with her. After hearing this from him she thinks of him as very trustworthy and elderly, and starts to like him even more.
Meanwhile, Hee-jung starts to pack Hee-soo’s things up when she finds cartoons drawn by Hee-soo and a letter written to Ki-hoon.

===Eps. 24===
Eun-min gets angry at her mom for not making seaweed soup for her on the morning of her birthday; and for even forgetting that it is her birthday! Tae-kyeong asks her if she wants to go to a DVD room in order to cheer her up a bit.
Meanwhile, In-sook, not being able to mention anything about borrowing money to Eun-min’s mom, complains to her niece, Eun-joo. After hearing about everything Eun-joo tells In-sook that she’ll lend her some money.
Tae-kyeong and Eun-min buy each other rings from a street vendor.

===Eps. 25===
Tae-kyeong goes to Dongdaemoon with Eun-min to help her find her father. In-sook goes to see her son in prison and sees Eun-min’s mom already there visiting him and thanks her.
Young-min goes to a film company with Eun-joo to get the manuscript fee. Eun-joo gets very angry when she sees the contract getting ripped into pieces right in front of her eyes, and Young-min gets hurt trying to protect her.
Meanwhile, Eun-min’s mom sees Eun-min and Tae-kyeong walking along the streets arm in arm and senses that there is something going on between them. She tells Hee-jung to keep a close eye on them. Eun-min bashfully tells Tae-kyeong how she feels about him.

===Eps. 26===
Eun-min is happy with Tae-kyeong’s confession and they fall further in love sending text messages to each other. Eun-min’s mom, sensing that there is something going on between them, tells her to be careful.
Hee-soo goes to see Ki-hoon at his house on Kang-hwa Island to give him a letter. She decides to wait for him but starts crying and burns the sketchbook with his cartoons in it and the letter.
Meanwhile, Eun-min’s mom goes out looking for Eun-min and Tae-kyeong, who are together on a date in a park.

===Eps. 27===
In-sook doesn’t feel too happy after seeing her son, Soo-jae, in prison. Seeing this, Eun-min’s mom calls her and invites her out to buy her some clothes and have dinner with her in hopes of making her feel better.
Tae-kyeong and Eun-min are getting closer and closer every day, so Eun-min’s mom asks Hee-jung about Tae-kyeong. Hee-jung worries about Tae-kyeong. Meanwhile, Eun-min rebels against her mom for firing Tae-kyeong and telling him to never see her again.

===Eps. 28===
Young-min gets sued for getting into a fight with the head of the movie company for not paying the fees for the manuscript and gets taken to the police station. Eun-joo does everything in her power to get him out of jail.
Eun-min’s mom, after being cruel to Eun-min, goes drinking with Tae-kyeong’s mom, who later comes home drunk.
Meanwhile, Tae-kyeong feels sad after seeing his mom delivering stuff to Eun-min’s house. He turns down his friends who had asked him to go to a ski resort with them and goes drinking instead.

===Eps. 29===
Eun-min goes to Tae-kyeong’s school to see him. Tae-kyeong still has another class to go to so he tells her to wait for him and gives her some money. Eun-min waits for him but gets bored and calls Young-shim.
Eun-min’s mom finds out that Eun-min gave her savings to her dad and starts complaining to In-sook, but In-sook does not feel comfortable hearing about this because she’s borrowed Eun-joo’s savings and gave it to her daughter-in-law. Meanwhile, Eun-joo goes back to the movie production company and gives the head of the company the hospital expenses.

===Eps. 30===
Young-shim calls Tae-kyeong to tell him that Eun-min is with her, and Tae-kyeong becomes sad when Eun-min starts complaining about how he doesn’t care for her. He comforts her and takes her back home, but Eun-min and her mom get into another quarrel and end up hurting each other’s feeling again.
Meanwhile, Eun-min’s mom gets a phone call from In-sook’s daughter-in-law thanking her for the money that Eun-joo sent to her.
