On Jeju Island, Won Mi-Ho ([[Lee Da-Hee]]) feels despair due to the deaths of people around her. She vows not to lose anyone else and undergoes training from Geum Baek-Joo ([[Ko Du-Shim]]) to regain the powers she once had as Wonjeong. In ancient times, Wonjeong was destined to save her people on Jeju Island by creating a barrier from the lust demons that rampaged over the island. Two boys, Van and Gungtan were raised nearby solely to kill the lust demons, but they escaped.

Now, Van ([[Kim Nam-Gil]]) and Priest Johan ([[Cha Eun-Woo]]) watch from afar as Won Mi-Ho tries to awaken the energy that she was once held. Meanwhile, Gungtan ([[Sung Joon]]) lurks in the background filled with fear and rage. He begins his quest to throw the world into chaos and darkness.
