The day will come when we can go back to Japan.&quot; Hatao Yamamoto believes firmly he will return to Japan someday and see his wife Mojimi Yamamoto ([[Keiko Kitagawa]]) and their 4 children. 8 years later, Hatao Yamamoto receives a postcard from his wife Mojimi Yamamoto. The postcard states &quot;We are waiting for you to come back.&quot; Hatao Yamamoto can't help shedding tears, while thinking of his wife raising their 4 children alone.
