==Notes==
17 year old Hye-Na ([[Kim Hye-Na]]) has a self-induced abortion in a public restroom. She emabarks on a trip to find her long lost mother. At the bus station, Hye-Na meets middle-aged woman Oak-Nam ([[Seo Ju-Hie]]). Oak-Nam has been abandoned by her husband after he discovered that she slept with an elderly man for money. Oak-Nam is now seeking to find "Flower Island". Hye-Na decides to join Oak-Nam on her trip. The two woman then come across Yu-Jin ([[Lim Yu-Jin]]), a former opera singer now stricken with cancer. The three woman trek together to discover the mythical "Flower Island" - a place where people can forget all their sorrows ...

==Notes==
# Director [[Song Il-Gon]] first made a one minute film titled "Flush" for the video exhibition "Media City Seoul 2000". That short film depicted a teenage girl's abortion in a public restroom. [[Song Il-Gon]] then expanded that short film into the feature length film "Flower Island".
