Yes she was one of the original 5 After School who debuted in 2009, but she did not stay with After School long, less than a year in fact. She was the first to "graduate" (i.e. leave the group).

In After School she was the Lead Dancer and generally had very few singing lines, since she is a very good dancer but not really a great singer.

Evidently she was more interested in acting, since after "graduation" she focused only on that.

Regarding singing: singing voice can be quite different than speaking voice... also sometimes they do cutesy or annoying voices on purpose when acting. I mean think of voice actors in cartoons or anime who do multiple characters, for example.

That said UEE (who has the main role in High Society and is still in After School) also is more a dancer-visual than a singer.

Well from the original members I miss mainly Kahi and Bekah... I never connected much with So-young or Juyeon, for some reason.

The best After School formation is when they still had them and added Raina, Nana and Lizzy (by that time only So-young had left), in my opinion...

That said I just love "Ah" and "Diva" (where UEE also comes in), two of my top favorite kpop songs!

I really really miss the original members, wish u guys can come together as a group.
