Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki Staff ©
In 2024, four sisters of the Machida family live together in a small town in Japan. The four sisters search for their own happiness, while they face difficulties with work, love, and marriage.
Ryo (Mayu Hotta) is the second sister. She is eloquent, but hates to lose. She doesn't want to get married and she would rather live with her 3 sisters forever. At one point, Ryo wanted to become a drama series writer, but she gave up on that dream. She now works as an assistant director at a drama series production company. She gets a chance to direct a drama series written by a famous writer. One day, her childhood friend, who is now an adult man, appears in front her for the first time in 9 years.
Megumi (Sawa Nimura) is the eldest sister. She has a strong desire to marry. She works at a government employment service center as a non-regular employee. She is secretly dating a man at her workplace, but that man keeps avoiding marriage talk and she becomes frustrated by that.
Eri (Neru Nagahama) is the third sister. She is the most gentle and warm hearted person of the four sisters. She has dreamed of becoming an actress since her school days and she still pursues that dream. She supports Ryo in her attempt to become a drama series writer. Eri also has a secret that she can't tell her sisters.
Mei (Mei Hata) is the bright and spoiled youngest sister of her family. She is a student at a fashion school and wants to become a fashion designer. She dates a student from an elite university, but, due to a man, her life is torn between choosing love or her dream.
