Movie follows 26 years in the life of a chief inspector (Go Ayano) until his arrest. He works for the Hokkaido Prefectural Police and is called the "black chief inspector."
Notes
- Based on the non-fiction novel "Hajisarashi Hotsukaidoukei Akutoku Keiji no Kokuhaku" by Yoshiaki Inaba (published October 7, 2011 by Kodansha). After serving 9 years in prison, Yoshiaki Inaba wrote the novel. In July, 2002, Yoshiaki Inaba, while working as a police inspector at the Hokkaido Prefectural Police Department, was arrested and later convicted for drug and gun possession.
- Filming began June, 2015 and finished July, 2015
- Go Ayano gained and lost 10kg while filming for the movie.
