And I noticed most of that in Be Melodramatic, search his name but forgot since he have less filmography yet. Now, how and when did he become a villain? ㅎㅎ Been binge watching his project at this moment I think he will come out in my dreams. 100% will never forget his name in the future.. Lee Jan 30 2023 12:29 am Liberation notes was a different story line & really well done by Son Sun Ku. So believable in his part. He was a great alcoholic. I grew up in 1940’d & 50’s, had 11 post war alcoholics. So lines were believable too. His co star had good personality with him. I need to watch for those two leads in other movies, since they acted so great together. Loved the music scores too. Although a lot of the words I don’t understand since I am English from the US.

He looks so cute and loving as Mr.Gu, his smile, his character, the way he show his 'worship'ness, the way he looks at the person he likes, his shyness, his miserable life, his "toughness" in doing his work (both past work and on field work), even the way he put his wall up, cant describe on how much I love him and his character :')

You just gotta watch it, to be honest, the first few episodes (My Liberation Notes) is kind of dull but you'll get through it xD

I do unfamiliar with him either, he might even be extras in movies but I also not notice him, but I know some clip recently on tiktok, old movies, he play in movie called suit, and he looks fcking hot. Anyway, I'm glad for watching MLN and knowing that he's exists. Kinda sad why do I just found him, but maybe this is the right time. His facial expressions and smile are charming. He is very charismatic. For me he made the movie, I can only hope that there is a second season. Glad to see they all have a potential for a happy ending. In depth relationship support and issues that shows much sensitivity from the writer & director. Of the 3 Netflix series released at the same time, this one is the best.

I watched jirisan, and yes he stole my heart in very short appearance and i wished more story about him and jjh but it's over. I forgot him and today My Liberation Notes bring him back buy ididn't realize before that he's on jirisan 'til i read it on internet. In fact, I'm not alone, many people didn't realize that they already met him on another drama because his appearance is different in every drama/movie. I like Kim Nam Gil, So Ji Sub, and Kim Seon Ho, Yet i think Son sukku now is over the top all of them right now. I will watch all his drama and movie right now. I'm so in love with his microexpression that speaks million words without any dialogue. I'm pretty sure we will get more recognition and award from now on.

What i love about him is how versatile he can be . He can portray different characters very well. I hope he will get the right recognition he deserves.

When it comes to his charisma based on my experience when i watched his current drama My liberation notes i didn't know him He was unfamiliar and his looks is not like the other korean actors which is cute or just handsome ... The more you look at him the more you will fall for his charisma.

Just let your work speak for itself. Always be yourself. Remember, the only difference between you and the rest of us, is what we do for a living, nurses, doctors, cooks, teachers (me), tax drivers, police officers, etc. It's nice to receive complements for our work. Everybody appreciates it. But some of our fellow workers never hear them, and others get too many. God bless

Su ku is an intense actor, i love his many facial acting and emotions.. This guy deserve the attention. He has the power to steal lights from leads! Im sold. This is one to look out for!!

Crazy fan Aug 25 2019 1:44 pm I discover him only last weekend when I decided to give designated survivor a shot. Read so much good things about the drama! After ep 1, got hooked! The story was great but what mesmerized me most was Son's charm and his acting skill. Wow.....I'm glad I watch the drama so I get to know him. I will follow him from now on...hope he'll have more acting opportunities with great scripts like designated survivor. Great job !

Not to forget to mention he should receive a big bonus for getting hit like that. Hope he went to check out if everthing's okay after filming.
