Park Min May 01 2024 2:10 pm The veteran actor, Lee Sun Kyun, delivered a powerful performance that anchored the show, as expected. It's really heartbreaking to lose such a big talent. Rest in piece. The drama didn't exactly break new ground with its plot or characters, but it managed to hold one's attention through its well paced narrative, occasional power shifts and a few unexpected twists thrown in. The cast does their thing, but some of the characters feel a bit like cardboard cutouts, lacking some life in them. While the drama dipped into melodrama sometimes but it struck a balance between suspense and storytelling. Overall, it's a pretty decent drama around corruption and power struggles.

cCookie Feb 17 2023 12:20 am Jang Tae-Chun might be the dumbest and most arrogant prosecutor in kdramas. He acts so righteously while he can't do anything right is very laughable. I hate the character, he's like the proverb "empty vessels make the most noise".

The story so far is 6/10. It's okay.

Moon Chae Won doesnt look like she wants to be there, and the rest of the cast need to overact to infuse some excitement over the messy spaghetti story

He has many movies (some of which Chaewon posted in her either her old or new instagram), including Parasite which won oscars. He was also nominated in Emmys for Doctor Brain. Hoping for the success of their new drama.

Although Mama Fairy is entitled for her, that was my least favorite drama of her, because it's childish. This unnie suits heavy drama, such as Princess Man, Innocent Man & Flower Evil. But the story needs to be focused on her more. I just realized, she was always the second lead after her partner.

And I bet Chae Won is excited to act with Lee Sun Kyun too. He is one of her favorite actors. Just as she watched King and the Clown before for Lee Joon Gi, I hink she watched Coffee Prince, My Mister, and Parasite for Lee Sun Kyun. I'm so excited for their collaboration together. There's just always a part of me that wished Chae Won back in historical drama or wants her in a female centric role.I think it's the reason she's not super popular, most of her dramas focus more on her partner's character's than her own. Thus, I hope her role here is much bigger and is equally important as Lee Sun Kyun's character.
