I really love the balance in the show, not only focusing on cheesy romance, but also having lots of comedy moments (that actually made me laugh my ass off), badass action scenes, brotherhood moments (soldiers of special force north korea), sisterhood moments (ajummas of the north korean village), family support (Ri's and Dan's fam) and family's backstabbing (Yoon's family), forgiveness (seri to her stepmom), revenge (Ri for his brother n eavesdropper, Dan to Seungjun), hope, and the incorporation of the relationship of South and north korea. But I am not sure if I am welcomed to do so or how would she even see it as she would have so many fans having same desire as me. I’ve never watched a show before where I fell in love with every single character (even the baddies). There was not a single moment of screen time I wanted to hurry up to see a different story or spend more time with different characters. I would have watched any moment no matter how mundane, just to see the lovely interactions! You wrote every scene and every character so well I feel a huge sadness knowing it’s over. I really love the character of Hyun Bin where in, he will do antyhing and everything to protect the woman of his life which infact, in reality all girls are dreaming of.. I lalso admire the character of Son Ye Jin that shows care and love to his man despite of the different rules from their respective countries.. Also, the frienship shown in this series was very inspiring and valuable, as in, till the end, true friendship lasts... I am hoping that there will be season 2 of the story... Ali Jul 04 2020 8:13 pm CLOY was such a wonderful series, and the exclusive and enduring love between Se-Ri and RJH was moving and totally convincing, right up to the last Switzerland scenes when we, the viewers, are left confused and sad about what Se-Ri and RJH's love for each other really meant... their rings are very noticeably absent (long shots of Ser-Ri's left hand) and they appear unfamiliar and uninvolved with each other. Are we meant to think that their love for each other faded and became less important over time? If this is the message we are meant to receive, it undermines the power of the deep connection and commitment that Se-Ri and RJH have throughout the series, which was almost fairytale-like- so abiding, enduring, and unchangeable; we yearned and grieved and loved with them both. As viewers, we find ourselves wishing we never saw the final Switzerland scenes, which taint our previous beliefs about Se-Ri and RJH. Better to have left them on the border, with hope and longing and undiminished love. I have watched LOTBS and loved it but not as much as I love CLOY that I have watched at least an episode a day since I first watched it in April. The main stars are obviously getting most of the credit right now but truly you are up there with them. I love the brains of this production overall. The chemistry of the leads and the support, but all these would not have been possible if not for the excellent story. I know you write screen plays but would you consider writing the story for Crash Landing in the form of a book? I hope it would have all your excellent dialogue but it could also include some details about the families of the characters that aren't clear - Yoon Seri's father and how Seri came to the family when she was a month old, for example. After watching Crash Landing on You, I feel the need to thank you, the actors, director & everyone involved in making the film. I really enjoyed it- gave me happiness in this very difficult time. I have to say that is the 1st Korean movie I’ve watched. I have been here in the US for almost 2 decades but never sat down for a long time in front of the tv because of work. If there is one thing I can be thankful of the stay-at-home period is that it gave me a chance to watch Korean movies which made my friends addicted to such. Love the details of the NK ajumas and the 5th Company soldiers. The only thing that considered too much was the death of the second male lead. If a second season is ever made, please consider it as a scheme to get him out of NK, not really dead. This story made me cry, laugh, keep me at edge and made me believe in love again. I couldn't help but notice some scenes have similarities with published photos, videos and stories of the two main actors real life. It seems written just for them. This made it even more delectable. The main actors, LMH and JJH, carried this drama, to be honest. Without them, I don't know if it would have been as successful. There wasn't enough conflict in the plot and the pacing was slow in the middle. The romance also was too mild, and it should've been hotter given how strong the leads were. For me it was the chemistry and not necessarily the story that carried this drama. So far Jun Ji-hyun has portrayed your two best characters in 'Legend' and 'Love from Another Star'. The woman in Producers was strong but so smug that series missed the mark for me.
