Plot

Choi Ji-Woo stars as Soo-jin Jang, whose rich and powerful father tricks her into returning to Korea, so that she can get married and provide him with a successor to his business empire. Desperate to stop her father's madness, Soo-jin pretends she already has a boyfriend, and so enlists the help of simple water deliveryman Yong-nam Kim (Seung-woo Kim). But now she must pass Yong-nam off as a member of high society if she is to stop her father's plans.

Park Min Jun 16 2023 7:36 pm The drama biggest problem is its both male leads. Both were incompatible, had zero chemistry and looked way older than their real age and compared to female lead. Regardless of anything else, the drama failed to nail the most basic elements of any romance. The romance itself was poor, awkward, emotionless and dull. Again, the lack of chemistry/connection isn't helping either. More or less, the comedy/entertainment value was equally problematic. This drama was a disastrous romcom from the very beginning and there was no saving it. Almost any other Choi Ji Woo drama from that era was better than this one.

jinjoo Jun 13 2019 9:05 am 2019 and still re-watching this enjoyable drama! I highly recommend this, it's like a male version of Cinderella as Yong nam is a naive ordinary guy who fell for her (Choi Ji) and i just love watching this kind of drama! Love it! For those wanting the OST try online or amazon maybe? i have the OST but a friend gave it to me & not sure where she got it from! I agree with one of the comments, old kdramas are the best & this is one of them for sure! I have the dvd of this drama & so lucky i can watch it over/over again! the chem of CJW and KSW was fantastic in this drama!

iamyhurs Feb 08 2015 6:48 pm I hope someone can tell me the soundtrack of this drama in the Philippines. All I remember with the lyrics is "ooh it hurts to see you cryin' " but I cant find the title of the song :( its been for 10 years now I still cant find the title of the song.

PS Sep 03 2013 2:11 pm I just loved this drama & i've seen (rewatched) it many times, just over the w/end I rewatched this & still in awe! KSW & CJW great chemistry! I hope they do another drama in the future! KSW's role here as Kim yongnam was so believable & i luvd his naivete in this drama, so was Choi ji woo's role! I highly recommend this though you might think it's an old drama but these old dramas are far more better than some of the new kdramas these days! It's funny, moving too and I can go on & on! 4 stars for me & 2 thumbs up way up!
