Ichikawa (Takanori Iwata) is a teacher at a public middle school. Two incidents occur that changes his life greatly. One is that his students come to school with their hair dyed blonde in protest against the school rules. The other problem is that his girlfriend
Akasaka (Mugi Kadowaki) begins to ask him about marriage. He thinks that getting married at the age of 30 is too soon and he has never even thought about getting married. The blonde hair incident at his school becomes publicized through the internet. The commotion becomes much bigger and gains the attention of the Board of Education, Ministry of Education, and even the Prime Minister. His girlfriend makes a bigger issue of getting married and tells him that he is childish. Ichikawa finds himself in a tight spot.
