Ji-Hye (Shin Eun-Jung) has raised two kids alone. Her eldest child studies at Harvard University in America and her second child Sun-Woo (Kwak Dong-Yeon) studies at the most prestigious high school in South Korea. Due to the fame of her two children, Ji-Hye works as a consultant for college admission. One day, Ji-Hye accidentally kills someone. Her son Sun-Woo sees his mother covered in blood and knows that she killed someone. To cover up the killing, Sun-Woo takes action.

Why wouldn't the traffic cop not see she was covered with blood when he asked for her license? Why wouldn't the cops search the apartments better if they were looking for information on the deceased, or the killer? Are the cops in Korea really that inept?
