A romance story between Do Min-Ik (Kim Young-Kwang) and Jung Gal-Hee (Jin Ki-Joo).

Do Min-Ik works as a director of the mobile media 1 team at T&T. He is smart and excellent at his job. His secretary is Jung Gal-Hee. Do Min-Ik often does childish things like calling Jung Gal-Hee continually. Jung Gal-Hee carries out Do Min-Ik's orders without complaints. She looks soft, but she hides her tough side.

Her character is cute but I love the fl more. I don't know why some people hate her character when in fact she faced Min Ik even though she knows that Min Ik will only pushed her away. She still accept the consequences of her actions. But it's still your opinion. Jin Ki Joo fighting!!

Future kdrama star Mar 08 2023 4:24 pm This is a cute drama but the editing was weird. The reactions and expressions of the leads sometimes is awkward. This can be because of the director and not because of the actors talent. Actors have a challenge in their roles so I try not to be too hard in my judgement. If the drama was 12 episodes it would be stronger. Veronica Park is the best! funny character. The actress Kim Jae Kyung was stronger than the leads maybe she has more experienced. I'm gonna watch the leads in their other dramas see if I like them there.

Veronica PARKK is what save this drama from dull bad plot. She is so remarkable, a Verrronica that I would never forget. Her acting is outstanding and her expression is totally unique. Cant believe I love a character this much!!

How frozen-brained are Do Min-Ik and his secretary that they don't suspect anything when the flash disappears twice after discussing it in the presence of their driver? , they appear so dumb and stupid.

And as for Gal hee's character, sorry love, you don't just go on decieving someone you claim to love continuously with your selfish interest at heart.

And the main lead is too dumb I must say. I get that you have a disease, but does that cloud your mind from recognizing voices too? Wack movie full of too many plot holes!!!

joo Dec 27 2021 7:28 pm idk why some of you are mad at galhee because she lied, i mean it's part of the main plot if it's not the actual main. Veronica park wouldn't have a time to see daeju since her mom is pushing her to date min ik while min ik wouldn't treat galhee as a woman if she didn't pretend to be veronica park. In conclusion, both couples wouldn't end up being together if it wasn't for her.

Anyways, I love the main leads, their chemistry is so strong on this series and even in the behinds, they have the best smiles and their kissing scene looks so real, no awkwardness visible. Jin kijoo slayed her role for being an overworked secretary and the elegant and classy fake veronica park, the way she switch her character will always be funny and awesome ^.^. The male lead was also amazing, his facial expression is one of the best among all the actors I've watched so far. It's rare for me to like actors no matter how handsome they are but he got me with his incredible way of acting and facial expressions (some actors literally doesn't know how to act but became famous thanks to their handsome face). This series is light and fluffy that makes it fun to watch, no protagonist and unexpected villain who'll go against them that makes it more realistic and relatable. It's so underrated (maybe because the actors and actresses isn't that famous) but it's really good to watch. I found this since i refuse to go with the trend and I like to go around and find hidden gems instead, and tada i found this wholesome drama, I really recommend this one <33

Ciepao Mar 26 2021 3:28 am This drama is good, light and refreshing. All the characters, actress and actors, and OSTs are amazing. I really like the voice of Jung Gal-Hee (Jin Kijoo) here. It sound so comforting and it fits her character really well- innocent and youthful (?).

I don't understand why other people got mad that Galhee lied? That's a part of the story lmao. And it make sense why she lied, she said she wants to see how her boss treat other girls that's not her. And she slays acting like Veronica Park too.

Anyway, I'll give this drama an 8/10. Not that extraordinary but still reccomendable. Won't waste your time.

There was a turning point in the series where things got really interesting, and it's somewhere towards the middle of the series. If it wasn't for the humor, I probably would've stopped watching it. The characters were also great and pulled it off nicely without being too annoying like other series. It was actually interesting and great overall, and I'm glad I continued watching it. 88/100

I guess it's not as popular, because the plot is not that extraordinary, but that was one reason why I actually loved it. If you're looking for a romcom - this is it! I really enjoyed that there weren't much trappings that distracted from the relation plot, no evil surprise or plot twist (think Strong Girl Bong-soon..). Kim Young-Kwang and Jin Ki-Joo were great! They had an unbelievable chemistry, right from the start. (Actually so much that I was startled why they were already so close and touchy if there were still 15 episodes to unfold xD). And it's not exaggerated when viewers say it was the kiss of the year! No annoying lip pressing. Usually I don't fall often for the female lead, I mean it's Kdrama, I'm a girl. These are made to make me fall for the male actors after all. But Jin Ki-Joo played her both characters so well, I loved her. And its great that the "antagonists" got their own love line. These are always the best, imo. So I think it's underrated and I definitely recommend to watch

All the main characters were impossible, sweet and kind-hearted to an unrealistic degree yet still pulled off in a way that hooked you in and made you believe. For my two cents, Veronica Park stole the show. Every minute with her was fabulous. The pace was quick, the twist enjoyable, the tone perfect, never taking itself too seriously. If you want some lighthearted distraction, this was great.

Dramarama May 26 2020 12:13 pm Great drama. I really like it. Some people criticize Gal Hee but honestly I don't blame Gal Hee for not being honest from the beginning. If she simply said she was not Veronica Park, romance wouldn't have bloomed as it is in the film between the two. Maybe Min Ik would have still fall in love with the secretary Gal Hee, but him and fake Veronica (Gal Hee) relationship, chemistry, moments play important role, too. I mean, some things happen for a reason.

R Apr 19 2020 8:55 am This was so sweet. Funny, light and romantic. The kiss scenes were amazing, unlike so many awkward ones that seem to be in other Korean dramas. I love Young-Kwang's acting a lot. When he was happy it was so believable, and the scenes where he was angry or upset, It was really believable. His facial expressions really made his character believable. Sometimes the FL was annoying, but I got over the annoyance quickly.

Let me just say...Veronica Park is one of the best characters I've ever watched.

bumsa Mar 29 2020 3:55 pm Loved this series. I felt like the main leads had great chemistry, plus it seemed as if even the "evil" characters were somewhere reasonable people. Which then made it more realistic, somehow, or less forced maybe.

The story was actually quite interesting, and the actors surely delivered at their respective parts. The main couple was, of course great (otherwise I wouldn't waste my time finishing the series). However, every time the rest of the story got a bit slow and too soppy, came Awesome!!! Veronica Park yeo! I loved her and the man she was after, it was great. Overall all of the characters were refreshing, although, sometimes Gal-Hee was a bit too selfless, but a person can be like that, I suppose. Veronica made up for all that in a nice way.

Overall, after the first two episodes things pick up and I basically binged it in two days (yes, the quarantine may have something to do with the amount of free time, not going to deny). Recommended!!

Also JKJ's character was so fun to watch too. It was such a different character compared to other roles she has done. The more robust, feisty character she played her was soo different to the emotionally damaged girl she played in her last drama which was Come and Hug Me.

I love the story and the characters especially Veronica Park and Jeong Gal Hee. They made the show very entertaining! When it comes to kdramas i'm very hard to please. Just watch and give this drama a chance I'm sure you will like it too!

Sometimes you just need to have cute scenes and funny hijinks. Loved her secret life, which really was a secret life. There were so many cute scenes and scenes what made me laugh out loud, and some were so adorable. Veronica Park makes the show very relaxed too. She's just so over the top silly that you can't take her seriously, which is all part of the fun. You actually grow to like her quirkiness.

Shine Jun 28 2019 1:57 am I was skeptical about this drama at first but having watched it from the part where its difference from other dramas became apparent, I can say my decision to eventually see it was "awesome!". ^^'

It's a refreshing and light drama which presents its own relevant issue (particularly on company employees) but never leaves one with a heavy feeling on the dramatic parts. I must say that Do Min Ik is a boss like no other and Jeong Gal Hee stands out by being naturally charming. Another plus for this drama is that the second lead characters aren't left in lonely tears. Also, a spin-off for Veronica Park and Gi Dae-joo won't disappoint surely, especially since Veronica has made her own mark in this drama.

Congratulations to all those behind this drama! You have done a really great job. Awesome! ^^

Also Doctor Park said one of the time the patient from America can see people faces is when his blood level goes up and he said it himself to Gi Dae Joo that his blood level went up everytime he met her.

Although similar, it succeeds to provide a certain distinct feature in a way that it is delivered as a light weighted drama that is fun to watch. At times, you would cry your eyes out because of the emotions reflected by the main characters, Dominik and Jung Gal Hee, and most of the times, you would laugh your heart out because of the comedic acts portrayed by the characters. Also, I can't seem to get over "AWESOME, Veronica Park speaking."

The storyline is not extraordinary, but I still can enjoy the show. I think Im looking forward to the duo girls next projects.

They portray well the characters and have good chemistry. They compliment each other and make their roles believable. I salute to the whole team esp the writer and director for creating such incredibly funny romatic drama. Never had boring scenes! You always feel thrilled and find yourself smiling ?

lexi Jun 04 2019 12:51 am I'm only watching this for Kim Young Kwang. The story is ridiculous! Scene transitions are the worst. Acting is good though. The actress playing Veronica Park stands out. You can skip so many scenes and just watch the sweet moments between KYK and Jin Ki Joo. Good luck!

I really love this series, the secret life of my secretary. The chemistry and connection both actor and actress really make my day. Funny,good story line with beautiful actress,Jin Ki Joo..Although Kim Young Kwang is shy, but he have good expression.The story started to romantic scene(maybe)....cant wait to another episode..

She does not deserve to be with him because of her greed. She is the typical Asian girl that makes them all look bad just a lot whoreish and just a bad person in general. However, he puts everything into his performance. So sincere, charming and rather funny. Yes, the story is weak but it aspired to be a thought-provoking drama. Veronica Park's crush is a delighful to see. Her interest to Ki Dae Jo is adorable.

Can't wait for the each episodes every week! :)

I did start this drama too. I almost sure that Do Min Ik knows that Veronika Park is his secretary. Cant be my imagination after some signs that i saw. He saw here the next day how Jung Gal-Hee did strangle to face him. And when he called Veronika and came near her office cant be impossible how she speaks before he turn her chair to face him. And the fact that he did hide the yellow umprella. I dont know. It seems he plays her very good. Cant wait next episodes.

I hate episode 8, how come JGH didn’t recognize the murderer when he is wearing exactly the same outfits when he was trying to hurt DMI at the first time?! I just hate the fact that the murderer can walk freely and being so close to DMI, now the story line is just sooo annoying and not make any sense. I really have high expectation on this drama but now I’m dissapointed :((((

Sceetary jung will begin to live two lives with the director, one as his red cardiganed secretary, and another as the glamorous veronica park. It makes sense when you watch the teasers + other clips and this plot also makes this drama super unique from other secretary dramas !

He brings a sense of originality and creativity to his characters that I have not seen before in the younger generation male actors. When the firs I thing the story like WWWSK, but the real is not. And the second i thik this story like Rich Man Poor Woman because the lead male is can't see face of a people, but that is wrong because I don't like RMPW because that story very sadness for me. Overall I like this drama so much, i hope in the next episode will not disapointed me.

He was super busy until the very end of the year last year and this isn't just popping out of thin air, either. I know he is super, but not able to be an actual space-time-bending superhero :P
