Kim Young-Ran (Jeon Yeo-Bin) works as a bodyguard for the owner of the Gasung Group. She comes from a poor family and her life has been miserable life because of money. She comes upon a chance of a lifetime, that can change her life completely. She enters into a contract marriage with the owner of the Gasung Group, who doesn't have much time to live. She must change her own identity and survive for 3 months under a false identity, avoiding those who are after the owner's huge inheritance. For that, Kim Young-Ran is given the fake identity of Bu Se-Mi, who is completely different from herself. Bu Se-Mi comes from a good background and has a warm-heart. As Bu Se-Mi, she begins to work as a kindergarten teacher at a village. People in the village all like her and praise her as good woman Bu Se-Mi, but Jeon Dong-Min (Jin Young) is the only person who is wary of the perfect teacher. Bu Se-Mi is the homeroom teacher for his son in kindergarten. Jeon Dong-Min is a single father, who raises his son alone while farming strawberries in the village.

I honestly think Kim Young Ran has more chemistry with Lee Don than with Jeon Dong Min. To me, their romance looked forced.

Unfortunate Nov 07 2025 2:51 pm I saw a post criticizing Yeo Bin’s acting here because they didn’t understand Yeong Ran motivation for helping the chairman, but I don’t think her acting is to blame. It’s poor writing and execution. If they had spent just a little more time showing how chairman became a parental figure to Yeong Ran or if Yeong Ran met Ye Rim before, then Yeong Ran’s relationship to the chairman would make more sense and make it more heartfelt. They also didn’t utilize Yeong Ran’s bodyguard skills very well and I don’t think it’s her acting is the reason behind the lack of chemistry between her and Jin Young. The only character that made sense was Lee Don.

I mean she doesn't even bleed smh.. I disagree that she want to purchase a land for a kindergarten bruh I mean the number of kids on the village are just like 5 or what ??.. it so inefficient, better send them to city for better education... It could be better to be aged care homes then donate the whole money from the old guy so entire village could retire with lambos... I can see there's more aged single women need to be taken care in the near future.. It's more alarming situation. Not to mention the granny that not even have chance to be included on the frame ?.. Bruh birth rate in Korea are so doomed in general, with such small village I am not sure who is gonna be attending the kindergarten next year.. I mean there's only one new couple and the other is still having open ending,, who knows bruh money change people lmao in the other world it could be ended as makjang ??.. so maximum expected newborn baby could be one, two, or five to six kids if they are lucky lmao and the headmaster need to wait for six years before these kids could enter a preschool lmao ?.. not to mention the school are always struggling to find a new teacher bruh... Imagine you bring your kids to school so just you can become his teacher hell nah,, why wasting your energy just do a homeschooling ?.. everything are so inefficient that the teacher even has a whole villa just for a new teacher recruit, with a huge garden, so huge even once they held a welcoming party there..Bruh the villa is way, way more efficient to be a kindergarten school for six children.. or maybe it just the dad motives to be close with as much young lady as possible ?.. Bruhh also I feel bad for the old guy lmaoo why sacrifice your life and strategy for just that 5yrs maximum sentence ? when a flashdisk are enough to make the girl rotten in the jail forever?.. Loll and I hate the nepotism in the final eps when she supposed to throw the bucket to those menopause ladies,, why she throw the bucket to her boss like she was a basket ring lmao ??

They could have all escaped since no CCTV was working by the way. So ridiculous, not romance between the FL and ML. Episode 1&2 was good but the remaining episodes was poor

If I am Kim Young-Ran or Bu se mi, I will surely chop karate style her freaking neck. Baek Hye-ji is a nosy person, when her I see her face I literally move forward scenes.

Started out great. Loved the intensity and flow but it seems the writer didn't have a solid hold on the story to sustain that gripping element, cause even if you wanted to introduce some light hearted scenes to the story, you can do that without losing focus.

Also, why did they make the FL weak? You say she's a trained fighter yet you couldn't even give us some solid choreographed fight scenes. Was the director that lazy???? I expected so much more from her fighting, but it was obvious the director didn't do her justice, cause even if you wanted to use the ML to support her, you can do that and still equip her with immense strength. I mean everyone surely have a moment of weakness no matter how skilled a fighter they are.

I hate it so much because this series had so much potential to be so much more than it already is. But well...

There’s no emotional or physical chemistry between them so it’s just unnecessary. Also the way people are finding out her actual identity is so stupid, even I started asking why she’s so careless. I have a feeling Secretary Ham is the spy Don Lee was referring to and I think it’d be an interesting twist if Baek Hye Ji turned out to be a legitimate heir.
