Yojiro Enokida (Kiyohiko Shibukawa) graduated from high school and moved to Tokyo. His life there did not go well and Yojiro Enokida returns to his hometown of Shibukawa, Gunma Prefecture at the age of 39. He opens a recycling shop. One summer day, parts of his shop sign suddenly falls down. He murmurs "something big is about to take place."
