Baek Nam-Bong (Song Chang-Eui) is known as Dr. Frost. He became a professor in psychology at early age. He is extremely bright, but he has difficulties sympathizing with others due to an injury to his frontal lobe as a child. During the day, he now works as a counselor at the campus counseling center and at night he works as a bartender.

Baek Nam-Bong then begins to work with a teaching assistant, Yoon Sung-A (Jung Eun-Chae) at the counseling center. Yoon Sung-A is enthusiastic with the clients needing counseling. They work together to solve problems who go there for help.

Terry Jul 31 2021 8:38 pm Ok, I just finished the series and it was nice. No big wow factors, especially since you basically know who the main villain is way before the supposedly smart people knew. All the male characters were good and I even liked Prof. Frost with his stoic looks. The female characters, not so much. Professor Song Sun came off as totally clueless through the whole series, I mean from introduction to the very end. She is supposed to be a psychologist who understands people but she was lost even about her own patients. And "what's her face" was aggravating and the most useless character in the whole series. She literally had no idea what was going on and stumbled around aimlessly into each case. Her character didn't enrich any of the investigations at all and was just a young face in the show.

Chu May 05 2020 6:48 am Just finish watching it.. it really is a cool drama.. I really like Dr Frost character. However Sung Ah and Song Sun characters are sometimes too emotional and it was kinda annoying. I read the webtoon some time ago. And I'm kinda disappointed that there is no Pavlov in this drama.. I love reading Pavlov part in the webtoon and was hoping that there is Pavlov in the drama, but there is none. So, I'm a little bit disappointed.. But overall, it's a good drama..

Jinjoo Jul 31 2015 11:02 pm i just started watching this & luv song chang ui in this drama as always - he's cute/funny & surely is versatile coz he can do a serious but kinda funny professor in this drama! who says he doesnt fit this role? you're dead wrong, he's perfect for this role of dr frost, his facial expression the way he carries himself are truly amusing! luv song chang ui in all the roles/acts i've seen of him starting from golden bride, etc. i truly hope to see more of him after his latest drama make a woman cry!

saine Jul 26 2015 4:54 pm not very professional...he should be ashamed. how can frost not know that song sun's sister had feeling for him beyond his role as her counselor, and if he knew, how very unethically to continue with her, he should have transferred her to someone else. guess they have to find any way to make story.

Frostbite May 15 2015 10:23 pm I've been following the webtoon till the last episode (so far), and I think Song Joong-Ki will fit more perfectly as Dr. Frost. In terms of look, Song Chang-Eui is far from how I imagined Dr. Frost would look like in real life. But I haven't watched the drama yet, and I will, in order to know if he fits into the character.

But I believer as he was described as genius, he read many psychology dissertation and that broaden his knowledge. He also knows a lot about behavior which comes from behavioral psychology.

I think her acting is very good and innocent. And the reason to why people dislike her is because they are jealous. Anyways, I really recommend this drama. :)

Apart from cliche comments and reactions few other viewers did talk about, I think this drama is a great adaptation and they have executed it well too.. But yes, too early to comment about anything else. LOVE IT SO FAR.

In Asia, there are still many hardliners as such n that is a fact. It is sad, but it is still true.

Just becoz it showed 3 waiters wanting to puke at that thought, what would happen if the drama showed otherwise? There will then be those writing in saying something too, right?

It is only through education can change this sad fact about acceptance. We should try to change the negative thinking of those around us, a step at a time n at the same time, understand it will be different level of acceptance in each part of the world.

All because of the scene at the bar when the waiters wanted to puke when they found the two customers were gay. As liberal and advanced Koreans are, I don't understand how close-minded they are about homosexuality, that they allow such scenes to be acceptable. And I do notice it with other dramas, variety shows, and talk shows. It is disappointing to say the least. I do hope they can be more open.
