Plot

Park Min Mar 22 2023 4:37 pm It's a love story yet they failed to establish the first steps of love. Were they even in love? The leads lacked chemistry anyway. Bae Yong Joon didn't give off any romantic vibes. Kim Hye Soo was always quite and soft spoken unlike what we used to see of her empowering personality. They tried to provoke sadness and tragedy but none of it had any weight because of how under developed everything in this drama. Feels like a waste for a 44 episodes drama that couldn't accomplish much.

Jinjoo Jul 18 2022 3:56 pm My 3rd time to watch this nice Kdrama which I would categorize as one of those classic ones compared to some new ones these days! SPOILER: if you haven't seen this drama, my only disappointment is that towards the time that Jae Ho has been ill and Shin hyung insisted of marrying him right, to make it short they did marry but shortly after their marriage Shin hyung came to be cold to JH simply bec she found out that his life is coming to an end; I was thinking this is the time that he needs her support/comfort if you will! In the first place she knew that he has terminal cancer & she even blamed the doctor for giving her false hopes! I'm about to finish and am still disheartened to see SH giving JH her cold shoulder! Overall, this is a must-see drama with a very beautiful OSTs!

CN May 08 2020 3:21 pm this drama may be yrs old but it's one of those kdramas that will make you cry, lots of lessons learned about forgiveness, let alone love between the two leads and how one woman's deep love persevered because of her unselfishness, care, and I can go on & on! it's a must-see of Bae yong joon and Kim hye su! my 2nd time watching this & i still get teary-eyed! BYJ's role was to be reckoned with, his hard work, his quest for wealth made him chose something beyond his imagination but later learned from his mistakes! i don't wish to spoil ppl who haven't seen this but it's for you to judge! i highly recommend

Jinjoo May 03 2020 11:17 am i really like bae yong joon in winter sonata & i just couldn't pass on any of his projects incldg this one and this drama is also one of those that i came to like! the osts are also to die for! too sad BYJ is no longer making dramas, such a talented actor that we truly miss him now! i highly recommend this drama!
