Dai Igarashi (Ryo Yoshizawa) was born to deaf parents in a small port town in Miyagi prefecture and he grew up being loved by his parents. Since he was little, he acted as an interpreter for his mother. This was a normal and enjoyable part of his daily life, but he gradually became embarrassed and irritated by people considering him special. He even grew to dislike his mother's cheerfulness. At the age of 20, he leaves for Tokyo to escape ... but.
