Shioriko Shinokawa (Haru Kuroki) runs an old book store in Kamakura. She is exceptionally passionate and knowledgeable about books, but shy when not talking about books. She works with a clerk, Daisuke Goura (Shuhei Nomura). He has an unusual condition and can not read books. One day, Shioriko Shinokawa tells Daisuke Goura that her rare book has been targeted by a mysterious man. They work together to reveal the secret related to the rare book.

DesireeLovely May 27 2018 8:21 pm Same...rewatched the drama and still find it captivating. Maybe it's the fact that they give you a snippet of the literature at the end of each episode. As a bookworm, appreciating a good book is something so rare now. When I went to Scotland I found a lovely musty bookstore....it was one of my favorite finds, besides the Gardens, during my trip to Europe.
