Do Bong-Fan May 12 2024 9:41 pm All I can say is, why did Ms. Baek shift from a supernatural themed romcom to a Sci-fi one. Nam Soon and Geum Ju(the new installment to this title) both faced Japanese people who studies what was given to them by a god. We know it was given to them by a god since Do Bong Soon laid out the foundation for that with making Bong Soon lose her power and getting it back since the god that bestowed power to their lineage took pity to her plight. On the other hand, Nam Soon and Geum Ju established that its nothing but a special gene, which means Bong Soon should have turned to a goop when the god took her power in the "Strong Girl Bong Soon" title instead of just losing her superhuman strength. Nam Soon and Geum Ju also established what we know as power dampener, a result of the Japanese's extensive research to their supernatural gifts. I don't know, Ms. Baek seems to have completely trashed the "god" from Bong Soon and decided that its a Sci-fi romcom, not a Supernatural romcom with the two other installments for the title. I don't typically get too attached to a series. But in regards to this, I can say I did. It's well written (though it may not be completely realistic) but a beautiful series none the less. I would like to say Baek Mi-Kyeong has quite impacted me (in a good way) and I really hope to see what she does in the future. P.s just saying it would have been nice to seen a wedding at the end. Since I'm American I couldn't understand a thing they were saying. But after a while it didn't matter. But thankfully the words were added. I loved everything about it except the ending. I could see where you were coming from, but they were just getting back together after being separated again and the compassion wasn't there. I will watch it several more times until hopefully soon I'll get it out of my system. I have watched it so much that I feel I know the characters. The amount of emotions i get everytime i watch the shows she has written, tells the audiance what a talented writer she really is. I love all her scenarios however, I've never been this frustrated at a writer to leave a comment ?. Her latest work " the miracle we met" after 14 episodes(4 more left so maybe when i finish i won't be as frustrated) left me so angry and frustrated, to the point of questioning what the hell was going on in the writers head. This scenario is so frustrating. How can you do that to Sun Hye Jin? You made her have a bad husband that abused her emotionally and belittled her. You kill him and put the other Song Hyun Chul in his place. Not to mention how rude her mother in law is to her and all she's trying to do is be strong for her kids. I mean why? Honestly why would you put one woman in so much pain and to add salt to the wound Jo Yeon Hwa had to finally believe her dead not dead husband and be so selfish and self centered. I get Yeon Hwa lost a husband and the family lost a son and a father. My problem is why did you choose to make a woman who has struggled for so long ( Sun Hye Jin) to struggle more? Why dis you make Yeon Hwa so evil to the point of her disregarding that her actions are hurting not only Hye Jin but Hye Jin's family and the dead not so dead Song hyun Chul. I love this drama but i feel like you as a Writer, was cruel towards Hye Jin. I'm not married and I've never lost a husband or been in an abusive marriage. But i couldn't help but empathize with Hye Jin. She deserves better. It was like I was in the movie with them as an observer. I live in North Carolina, USA, and there are very few American shows/movies that can compare to the way I felt when watching this series. I loved the characters and story line. I would sit on the edge of my seat hoping she would pick the Ainsoft CEO. The thugs getting beat up is hilarious. It is a great show that I could watch over and over again, just to see the love and chemistry between the two main characters. It is a great series. There's a lot of characters that can be developed, such as Bong Soon uncle, Ahn' family drama, Guok Doo new cases. Pure, clean movie and can be watch by an entire family. The main character Park Hyun Soo/Ji Eunho was an amazing person with his feeling of unconditional love to Eundong. The sacrifice this man had endure throughout and his wisdom was so powerful. He showed a very strong character and not of this world. Eundong a poor, gentle, kind and a humble woman out class those who consider themselves as high society. The movie has it all ...the story, great acting, beautiful actors/actresses, the theme songs was amazing and the movie editing was awesome! Its a perfect movie all around. Totally unfair that she had to let her son go to the jerk that took away all those years of her life and also took the real father away from the son. it doesn't matter that he was paralyzed. Amazing how much more I enjoyed the story the 2nd. time around. Was this story the screenwriter's original or from a book? If a book, I would love to know where to buy one? I'm a guy but it touched me in ways that I'm not used to. A very sensitive and caring story with an unusual but mature ending. As a Christian man who loves God, I Loved the fact it had no swearing, no sexual contact or nudity. It seems in the USA and Canada, that seems to be all we get now. I was happy with compassion the two leads showed to their enemys, I felt they would behave that way in their lives because they knew how to love. Getting unavoidable cramps in the heart myself :D. This is really deep and brave story telling without falling to the usual cliché traps. Equally brave is the ending recognizing to have to forgive Choe Jae for his crimes against Yun Dong for the sake of Ra Il. But it's slightly wonky as well, leaving unanswered as to what assured Eun Hi that this psychotic guy won't bother Yun Dong? There were the love storie that most writers seek to attain and audiences seek to enjoy. For reasons I cannot fathom, you decided to forgo payback for the 20 year-theft of youth, love, and happiness. And don't forget that theft was every day, not just 20 years ago. A simple confession is enough? If that is so, why not empty the entire prison system of both Korea and the US with a weekly confession good feeling event. This simplistic approach left me so raw it ruined the first 14 first episodes. Payback is an necessary element of emotional release. The pace was great, sequence was effective, the detailing was spot on.
