Yui Hayakawa (Yuina Kuroshima) is a 16-year-old high school student. The one area that she has talent is that she can run fast. One day, Yui Hayakawa travels through time and finds herself in the Sengoku period. To protect young lord Tadakiyo Hagi (Kentaro Ito), Yui Hayakawa runs on the battlefield.

Wika May 09 2019 1:33 pm In whole this drama feels unique to me and of high quality. The romantic chemistry between the two main protagonists is cute and amusing. I was especially surprised and happy about the positive portraition of the Afroamerican protagonist. I have never seen a cast member in Japanese dramas or movies of different race. Loved it! I really like this drama! From the romance to the time travel. It's written in a funny manner. I recommend it to anyone <3

Since the first episode I was hooked to this drama but I had been worried on the ending..I'm afraid that it would be a typical time-slip romance drama ending..lead character could not be together and should accept/live on their era..this is the ending that I would dying to watch..the first ever drama to have a non age-bias ending..since inuyasha..

it is natural for us to follow love isn't it? be it another country or another dimension ?

Usually, this kind of story would be ruined by its pacing but the pacing is well done. the humor is on point and the drama is not too heavy. This is something that can be watched after a tiring day. If you hate edgy and dark drama, i recommend this.

Huh Nov 15 2017 12:09 pm Well if you haven't seen "The girl who leapt through time" with yuina kuroshima as the main protagonist then i recommend that drama to you. Though i think this one Ashi Girl is better than her previous drama in terms of cuteness. You might want to try Gomen ne Seishun as well. And of course maybe try Proposal Daisakusen which is one of my favorite dorama.
