Drama series depicts the lives and love of people working in the advertisement industry.

Lee Tae-Baek (Jin Goo) is extremely talented, but due to his poor resume goes through difficulties as he attempts to succeed in the advertising world.

Baek Ji-Yoon (Park Ha-Sun) is an intern at Keumsan Ad Company. She tries to do her best regardless of the task. Ji-Yoon is full of passion and becomes involved with Lee Tae-Baek.

Ko A-Ri (Han Chae-Young) is an AD planner at Keumsan Ad Company. She's confident and a sexy woman. In order to achieve her dream, she throws away her past and her love.

Park Min Feb 09 2023 10:56 pm The most boring advertisement out there. You would expect them to be "clever/creative" for such a topic but it's just a generic office setting. Also, dull comedy and dry romance.

MiaK Sep 05 2015 4:24 am A kdrama that I wished I didn't invest my time watching, but once I start I tent to go to the end, unless it's extremely bad. To me it was just okay. I felt the plot could have been more exciting. Some of the actors lacked chemistry. The love story between the two main characters was not in any way believable or exciting. Just okay! Nothing special about this one!

kupukupumu Jul 20 2015 2:16 pm This is a very good drama, although I am only midway through the journey. The plit is very engaging and the casts and characters are great. The plot is not uber melodrama yet quite believable and, again, engaging. Recommend this to all drama fans.

Oh, and contrary to the comment below, Park Ha Sun in this drama is mesmerising in a weird way in kdrama. She is just beautiful, but not that overly plastic beautiful. A mesmerising girl next door. The worst character is Addie, who lacks development. Not sure how a top ad executive suddenly becomes a super ambitious ala kdrama person.

Jopet Oct 30 2014 10:45 am Park Ha-seon, the supposed leading lady's acting sucks that it becomes unbearable to watch her without seeing all her teeth. She is beautiful alright, but she needs more acting workshops. She sighs so long in some scenes, closes her eyes far longer than the commercials when she is deeply sad, and shows you her teeth with gums and all when she is happy*!

Ramil May 02 2013 7:49 am I love the story. It is very inspiring... I did not expect romantic out of the drama but rather the lesson I've learned from it. It touched me. The struggles and sacrifice... This is true drama.. No need for "kilig" factor just to keep you going. I watched this in the internet and I can't stop watching it everytime... Just finished it though and I watched it from 10 pm until 5 am in the morning for 2 days ... and I love it....

LindeB Apr 08 2013 8:51 am don't understand why the ratings were so low. l just finished the whole series and as far as l'm concerned this is the best among the 4 that l've been watching. what went wrong? at least it's 16 episodes. l'm just heartbroken that it never got a rating. the story was good, actors and actresses were wonderful. it was acted so well. it was a very good drama!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully at the end, would like to see Park Ha Sun marrying J.G. Well Park H. S very adorable, cute and sweet in the drama.

They didn't show much of them actually dating (TB and JY) since the story was mostly about the struggle to survive and the love triangle between TB, JY and EK. Everything was going fine for TB until the Chairman had the brain aneurism. Then JY decided she had to concede to the chairman's wishes even though she did not like or love EK. So she was basically emotionless, never smiled and didn't say much whenever she was with EK, getting the wedding gown and getting the wedding jewelry. Luckily, KAR was whispering in EK's ear, pointing out how loveless JY and EK relationship is and how unhappy JY looks (whenever she is with EK). So when TB makes a push to win back JY's affections, he has a lot of help. JY realizes she still has strong feelings for TB. Luckily, EK finally realizes that a marriage to JY is hopeless and calls off the wedding. Now JY can smile again and everyone pairs up (except Hassan) at the end. Seemed sort of like a wedding proposal from TB to JY before they ride off into the sunset.Want to watch the drama again! Jin Goo and Park Ha Sun were perfect as the lead actors/actress.

Letisha Mar 28 2013 2:36 pm To write and make advertisements in a story requires talent. The story line is good but the actors did not make emotional connection to me. The playfulness of Tae Baek is cute but the dull and unenthusiastic responses of Ji Yoon (her smiles are too little, few, and unnatural) did not help. Because of lack of warmth, the relationship between the two looks more like platonic, like friends who helped and looked at each other at work, instead of romance. TB seems very hesitant and careful to touch JY and JY appears distant, and uncaring. There's no convincing loving glances nor romantic gestures between them. When JY was trying the wedding dress and selecting the ring, she did not show any strong emotions (no drama) that viewers would expect. At this time, TB, a jilted man should not act matter of fact (no drama there), he must be at his breaking point because he is losing the love of his life, his sadness should be very convincing. Fortunately, the story has a happy ending but again the romantic factor was missing. When JY went back to Giants, it could be a chance for her and TB to connect to the viewers on the emotional level. It would be touching and dramatic if JY and TB had a private reunion, but instead it happened during a meeting thereby making it feels more businesslike (again, no drama). Because the story is good, the drama is still enjoyable. Overall the drama is good (could have been better with good screenplay and better acting). P. Ha Sun and J. Goo should sharpen their acting skills to get better rating.

RChan Mar 25 2013 2:50 pm Can't wait till the last 2 episodes are subbed (ENG). I have a feeling that "Copy Baek" will give in some to her father a little because of his illness. But either Eddie Kang will back out (because she doesn't love him) or "Copy Baek" will think "I can't do this" and go back to Lee Tae Baek/Giant. In the end "Copy Baek" and "Ad Lee" will be together and live happily ever after. My prediction...

I like anything Park Ha Sun is in. She is so adorable. The water fight scene in High Kick: Revenge of the short legged was so funny.

The story is great but the probable reason it is not rating is that there is no "kilig" factor (reaction that give audiences goose bumps- positive kind and not the scary kind) while watching it. Look at I Miss You, A Gentleman's Dignity, and the unforgettable Coffee Prince. The writers still have a change to remedy this and maybe before the drama ends it will at least be in the top 20. I know this drama has its good points or else, why would I be still watching it? Fighting AGLTB!

It's understandable that Ji Yoon and Tae Baek are hesitant lovers but the camera shoot them too far apart like strangers when they talked in private. Everyone loves romance, I hope the director will remedy this to make the actors connect to the romantic viewers.

RChan Mar 13 2013 12:17 am I am hooked on this drama. Watching ep 3 at the moment. Kdramas are sooo much better than what is available in the USA. Soaps and reality shows (in the USA) are garbage. At the moment, I like any drama/film with Park Ha Sun or Han Hyo Joo in it. Dong Yi, Brilliant Legacy, High Kick Through The Roof, Spring Waltz, Iljimae, etc were so good.

jared Mar 09 2013 3:11 am I am hooked with Korean dramas even if I am not Korean. So I watch every show I can. Just finish Jeon Woo Chi and this is the replacement.. I love it and am sure I will always be waiting for the next episode. I like Park Ha Sun and Jin Goo. I like the chemistry between the two lead stars...I just feel sad that it's not catching up with the ratings....I hope many people will see it..Good luck..

The name of the writer is not shown in the profile, I hope he/she is given due credit. Kudos to the director, screen writer, and actors. The rating is not a reliable guide for a good drama. Flower Boy Next Door is not even half as good yet it is rated high.

That was the same case with A Gentleman's Dignity. Maybe they want only very popular actors and actresses and not so much the story. WellI hope ratings will pick up so the drama wont be cut off. Pukath Feb 20 2013 7:55 am I can't believe its rating is so low. If I compare to Horse Doctor, which is historical drama, why Korean People still want to watch it? And what about Queen of Ambition? It's so dark, I am not interesting in that drama, except of their casts, Yunho & Go Jun Hee.

I wish Korean people will get their wake up call, they must watch this drama!

I don't find her acting annoying or horrible at all (@ comment #1). I'd never seen Jin Goo before, but he's also doing a good job.

People know she's good at variety, but acting is something Sunhwa is also good at. Esp for an idol. I hope this drama becomes a huge hit!
