On a cold, winter day, Sang-Min (Jeon Do-Yeon) asks Ki-Hong (Gong Yoo) for a light. The two strangers have dropped their kids off at a pickup area for a children's camp in Helsinki, Finland. A spark of mutual interest is ignited between the man and woman.

The man and woman decide to trail their children to the campground. On their way back, a snowstorm forces them to spend an evening at an inn. In the morning, they walk through the woods and to a secluded sauna. They leave the next day without knowing each other's name.

Several months later, Sang-Min fixes a display at her workplace and sees Ki-Hong walking by. The man and woman are both married, but share a bond that defies their condition.

Filming began November 19, 2014 and finished March 23, 2015. Filming took place in Finland from early February, 2015 for about one month.
Director Lee Yoon-Ki and actress Jeon Do-Yeon previously worked together in 2008 film "My Dear Enemy."

But this movie was just powerful. I’m sure a lot of people feel like this in there marriage and just stay in. Very well writing I might be a little Biased. From my understanding this is a remake, but It is so powerful given the cultural dynamics that Korea has, this movie had more of a global presence. They both were lonely based on their circumstance, she having an autistic son and he having a spouse with a host of problems, they came together only to be pulled apart by duty.

Donald Hamilton May 31 2018 4:35 pm I love Jeon Do-Yeon, but I almost turned this one off about half-way through: it just seemed to be a series of mood shoots, gratuitous smoking, and unconvincing romance. I am glad I didn't turn it off: the ending was quite powerful and emotional for me. I agree with Sad Rose, who called it a "simple slow success."

Ok, let’s move on from his body lol. This movie is very well done. It could change people’s opinion about the people that cheats. I never agree with infidelity for whatever reasons it is, but damn, why do I feel sympathize lol..

Are you kidding me hahaha , what erotic scene?? they just kissed and for the rest we just didn't see anything ..... It's a very good movie ! I don"t like american movies because of erotic scene guys but here we didn't see anything that why I love korean movies.

The doubts, anguish & yearning successfully conveyed by the actress' expressions. Jeon Do-yeon, I salute you!

This one is very slick melodrama movie is packed with good packaging LOVE THEM BOTH <3

Gong yoo'eyes reflect the yearning he wants and She gives it to him.the lovemaking scenes are tastefully done without overt nudity or cringe worthy factors in it. The movie has a sad ending which is pretty much the case of every infidelity story.

Mikki Dec 11 2016 11:37 am The cinematography of this movie is hands down amazing. It is filmed in Finland for that purpose. The acting of Jeon Do Yeon and Gong Yoo is always great. I am delighted in seeing Gong Yoo act in a Melo Drama movie after watching him in Coffee Prince and Big. The emotions and facial expressions they show each other in every scene makes me want them to be together even if it is a affair. The ending of this movie is rather sad but I think it is still a beautiful movie and is worth watching.
