He portrayed his character very well to the extent that you'll get more excited to see his scenes than the love scenes of the main actors. Lol. jhsvum Nov 15 2018 6:48 am such an outstanding actor, it’s a shame that he’s only been given smaller roles (i think his biggest role was in judge vs. judge). Sucks how most kdramas nowadays focus on casting popular/good looking actors or even idols (btw who thought using idols as main leads was a good idea?? The only good one i can think of off the top of my head is kyungsoo) as the main leads where true talent is shoved into the background. Rooting for his success and hope he gets the chance to play bigger roles.

But his cute and dangerous villain role in suspicious partner made me believe him fit for the role. It wasn't really annoying or anything. He just made me fear for the lead characters' lives. pondering stranger Dec 26 2017 3:14 am I first saw him in chief Kim, I love his character there, he is one of the improve character in each episode, then found him in suspicious partner, I can't watch him being a villain coz I like him so much in chief Kim, but he nailed his character there.

When I saw him in nothing to loose, I crossed my finger because I don't want him to be a bad guy on this drama, enough of a villain role.

Though he seems to be a good one in nothing to loose but who know he might be one of the hidden villain of that story hopefully not

I first saw him on Suspicious Parter and I was like, damn, this guy's acting is impressive. And then I saw him again on Beautiful Mind (I've been binge-watching Jang Hyuk dramas these days haha). He's amazing. Not only can he pull off the villain role, but he can also do comedy! Hope he'll get to land on a male lead role in the future, now that he's playing the second male lead on his new drama, Judge vs. Judge. Dong Ha oppa, I'm a huge fan of yours. 파이팅~! ❤️

GorgeousGirl Nov 18 2017 7:39 am I first got to know DongHa in Beautiful Mind. Although his character there is not that heavy, he is somehow impressive and hilarious at some point. Then I got to watch Chief Kim because of Namgung Min. He's daebak. I love his character there and those funny scene are really on point . He then I got to watch Suspicious Partner because of Ji Chang Wook. I didn't know that he would appear on that drama until he joins the plot. His acting is really impressive. I can count by my fingers of those korean actors/actress that really impressed me with their acting. Seriously, I thought DongHa could only do comedy, but villains fit him as well. So this time, i'm gonna say that I'm gonna watch this drama because Dong Ha. :D Fighting !

After watching Suspicious Partners I can say that Dong Ha is an amazing actor. He is so believable as an innocent guy and yet scary when he goes into villain mode. I hope he gets more lead roles with a challenging persona like his character in Suspicious Partners.

I like his character in Chief Kim as compared to Suspicious Partner (though he was also put up awesome acting skills) because he was just too entertaining to watch!!! (Especially the part where he speaks in that He definitely deserves a lead role in a drama. Would be checking out his new drama in MBC's I'm A Robot.

I am so impressed with his acting in Suspicious Partner (heck, he's the only reason I finished that drama at all). His character requires a wide range of emotion and he killed it with his portrayal! His acting is amazing and for some reason through the whole thing I felt so bad for him (even though he was crazy). His acting was amazing, I'm mean freaking amazing! He is so cute but when portraying a villain his eyes, body language, and that laugh were just scary (which is awesome). I can't wait to see what he does next. I am confident he will have a very long and successful career. On top of that I admire his humility, and dedication towards doing what he loves no matter what.

yumi sung Jul 21 2017 2:30 am I love his acting in "Last". I like his glance in this drama, an eye with no fear but a tear for his master pain. Although it quite sad to see he died in the end, but his act keep on existing in my mind. He quite a non give up actor where he can play his roll well in every new drama he's in, even not the main act, but as long as he appear, i felt extremely happy and excited. Hopefully he will be in main roll in his own drama one day. Can't wait for it.....love love....

Another commenter below is right: his acting is on a whole different level. Though I watched the series for JCW, one of my favorites and also extremely talented, Dong Ha's character stole every scene he was in, even against JCW. To be fair, he also had the more interesting role and rose to it. He should have a long, amazing career--as the lead. I have no doubt he can do it all.

He was able to portray a spoiled rich boy really well and its character development was shown clearly also. And now in his current drama, wherein he portrays the villain, he really showed great actting skills. He is able to make you try to understand the character deeper and not just try to know the character. His facial expression, his body language and his eyes reflects the character he portrays. You can see his passion for his craft through his acting. I hope he'd grow more into better actor thanhe is today and that I'd be able to see more of his work in the near future. He always plays his characters so well, he really gets into it. I feel like he really becomes one with his characters. He's really amazing! I suggest his dramas to anyone wanting to watch a drama with a GREAT actor.

He is sincere in every roll he plays and this sincerity comes across to the audience. The fact that he is good looking is a plus of course, but it is his acting that is important. I have been in the theatre, radio and TV all my life in Dublin, London and America until I retired. If I was still working, he would be an actor I would want to direct and produce. I would love to get in touch with him as I am often in Korea and live in a neighbouring country. Thank you Dong Ha for all your excellent work and for being also a very nice and humble person.

His performance in "Good Manager"or "Manager Kim" is a really convincing portrayal of a young man from a high profile family who becomes unhappy with the way his father's huge company treats ts employees. I hope we can see a lot more of Dong Ha on our TV screens in the future, and I also hope that he will get an award for his role as supporting actor in this role..

Pammo Sep 15 2015 9:07 pm I watched both Last and Glorious Days this week, not imagining the same actor playing Praying Mantis was the 2nd son in Glorious Days. After about 4 episodes it dawned on me it was the same actor. his skills are amazing when you compare both roles. Intimidation versus pure cute and adorable. He is do convincing and natural in both contrasting roles. I hope to see him in more dramas in major roles. pagoda luck in future endeavors.

I never saw any actor or actress singing that professionally. His acting is amazing, too. He did very great job in Three Days drama as a heartless killer. That's why I was shocked seeing his cute and funny image in Glorious Day drama. Tbh, I really want Park Se Young to end up with him instead of Lee Sang Woo lol. Anyways, I hope he will succeed in acting career and please, debut as a singer too.
