Plot
Socialite and successful businesswoman Mrs. Thief (Sammi Cheng) can hardly turn down business tycoon Steve’s marriage proposal when he offers her his family treasure.
On the eve of their wedding, two mysterious gangs appear and steal her prize win. The marriage is off and suspicion grows. Mrs. Thief suspects that her ex-husband, millionaire Mr. Thief (Andy Lau), is the man behind this heist.
Having parted ways for some years, the couple’s paths cross again. Mrs. Thief is certain that her ex-husband steals the treasure in order to sabotage her marriage and get her attention. She is determined to use all means to get him to confess his crime. Mr. Thief, who insists that he is innocent, uses this opportunity to rekindle her feelings for him.
What follows is a game of cat-and-mouse, seduction and jealousy…
