Plot
Can Japan's most famous baseball star become the manager of a boy's baseball team? His baseball skills may be the best, but his character is the worst! This guy Kirishima gets injured and is kicked off the team. He is abandoned by his family and, left penniless, and the only thing he has is a job offer that entails managing the local boy's baseball team in a deserted part of neighberhood. To make matters worse, the team is a total loss on the verge of being disbanded! Can the arrogant Kirishima, who can't stand kids to begin with, really save this team? And can Kirishima discover a new self in this town? Who should have a run-in with Kirishima but Mizuki, an aspiring attorney with a strong sense of justice? Will a time of understanding come between this mismatched pair? This drama depicts with a comic touch how Kirishima, in his interactions with the boys, reforms his life, and how the community is transformed by Kirishima.
