Synopsis
Two brothers, Kwang-sik and Kwang-tae, have very different attitudes toward women. Kwang-sik is extremely shy and can't say a word to a woman. But Kwang-tae is a playboy who just sleeps around. One day, Kwang-sik meets Yoon-kyung for the first time in seven years and he tries to confess his feelings to her, in his own way. Similarly, Kwang-tae meets Kyung-jae during a marathon and he tries his own ways on her. At first Kwang-sik still finds it very difficult to even talk to Yoon-kyung and Kwang-tae thinks of Kyung-jae as yet another temporary conquest, but in each case something changes in the brothers. Will they be able to love this time?

I rather enjoyed this movie. It didn't have the basic formula that I'm used to, but I found that refreshing. I've both experienced being the guy silently in love and the good-for-nothing, (mostly the good-for-nothing) and I enjoyed that bit of hope given when the camera fades away with those two in the coffee shop/restaurant.

It started out really cute (love Kim Ju Hyuk in this, big turnaround from Love Me Not), and progressed to a tiresome stage when it was all about the other brother and Kim Ah Joong. Jung Kyung Ho was a pleasant surprise, love this guy, but he was just okay in this movie...
A question of whether you leave romance to yourself or up to destiny, or maybe a little bit of both.

The plot sounds very gripping, however, I believe that this movie could be called "A Drunkard and a Nice Guy Try to Fall in Love" ^^ Well, both my boyfriend and I thought that the film was a bit disappointing, not that funny and it lacked soul.
A great plus for "When Love Meets Destiny" is definitely the performance of Ju-hyuk Kim. Other than that the movie tries the clever thing of fooling the watchers by young and pretty/handsome faces of totally lacking skills and experience actors; such as Kim, Ah-jung or Kyeong-ho Jeong. This doesn't work for me at all!
