christine buendia i like this story because nanami is a strong and understanding girl :)

cherry actually the part 2 was very touching also especially that in the year that past yano and nanami still loves each other .. and one more thing i hate yuri who needs symphaty from yano.

cherry i really this movie when i saw this i actually miss my boyfriend and its very touching nanami really loves yano.

Sheila Mae i like this movie its very romantic. i hope to watch the part 2 at Chanel 19

Nina Does anybody know who Nana Yamamoto's ex-boyfriend is in the movie? You don't really see him, but at the scene where he pulls Nana back to the car they show a blur of his face....(I loved both the anime and the movie btw)

Char-m ubana Well i just watched it at Red Channel... And This movie was very touching I felt like I was with the characters While playing their Role .. While watching the Movie i just fell inlove, I cried, I get Mad whenever Yano hurted Nana :( But then Among all the Love story Movies I have already Watched tis movie was the BEST EVER!!!!

Sean It's a beautiful romance movie. I cried during watching ;(

anna most actors in hollywood are really like that. actors even on their 30's play roles for teens because on movies they can do magic like make someone younger or older because of make-up or some effects.. hmm. i think if they have casted someone actual 18 years old guy he just might look younger on screen and would not be suitable for the role. TOMA IKUTA I think is just the perfect man for the role because eventhough he is old he still looks handsome. <3

yukitoai it will be perfect if Toma played this role when he is still young.. but, no one will perfect to be as Yano, expect Toma I though.

Lyna I'm not a reader of manga but when i watched bokura ga ita Live action. I feel like I was in the story. I felt all the emotions in the story. It was wonderful!!

Deas Greatfull love movie..i always love to watch this movie and watch this movie 3 times.i love yuriko yoshitaka.

Mary Glaydel I love the story so much ! Me and my little sister watched this movie on Red Channel and we can't get over how brilliant this story is. True love can wait .. I<3Yano!! :D

yuri I just watched on RED channel. Nice movie. Honest, pure, loyal, believes, good heart.^^

chuchu i just watch this movie on Red channel :D

Neel I am trying to get a hold of Part 1 and Part 2 of this movie. I saw part 1 on my flight from Delhi to Frankfurt. I live in Atlanta in USA and I can't find this movie anywhere.

yuki were can i download the full list of the OST?

shin18 just finished watching Zenpen and Kohen ! ^_^ [had been waiting for almost a year] i could watch the movies and that's enough for me! :O) i don't wanna complain about the actors.. i'm too thankful that there's a movie adaptation, not just one but two! :D

shin18 just finished watching the movie ! *-* [had been waiting for almost a year] i'm too thankful to criticize the actors.. just really happy that there's a movie adaptation! :D ..and being able to watch it is enough for me ! ^___^

Erika there's a bunch of young actors that's why i can't understand why they had to choose older actors not suitable for playing high school students. it's just weird seeing over 25 wearing uniform. i cant feel them..

manfa just watched both movies at the sydney 16th japanese film festival... second movie was awesome :)

where can i find the movie ost >< cant find it anywhere!

thanks !

bittersweet First i would like to say that i'm a very big fan of this anime, especially the manga. i almost finished it and it really disappoints me to see the faces of the actors and actresses who will play the role...

Okay.. so here's my first impression with the characters: 1. Even though i'm a fan of ikuta toma i cannot see him as yano., and he's too old 2. Yoshitaka yuriko.., i don't know her really.. but she's not as sweet looking as nana. 3. Sousuke Takaoka, no comment.. i can't say anything T^T 4. Yuika Motokariya looks tad bit old for playing yuri yamamoto.

better if they use Chinen Yuri as yano.. so let's just don't mind the characters,. i will be watching this only because of the story. hope it was not a failure like KnT live action.. which was also my favorite anime/manga.. :(

Djani I watched this movie on board Singapore Airlines from Milan to Singapore. It's so good that I can not stop from watching it, made me stayed up all night long and I cried so much at the second part.. When arrived in the morning, I thought it's a bad decision to watch this movie on board because I was sobbing uncontrollably, got puffy eyes and red nose the next morning.. LOL.. But this is a nice movie to watch over the weekend

John I watched Part 2 just today on a return flight from Europe to the US and it was very touching and well acted. One of those films you will want to see more than once. Now I'm intrigued and want to watch Part 1. I assume this is more about the school years of the main characters.

indostylo Watched this on my flight from Indonesia to Germany with Emirates Airlines.

Watched the Part 1 and Part 2 (watched part 2 twice), have watched several japanese movies but this one is definately the most touching. Highly Recommended for those who loves drama or Japanese movies!!

Ingrid I just watched part one and two on Hawaiian Airlines flight to/from Fukuoka! LOVED it!!!!

carmen i just finished reading the manga ans finished whatching the anime to now i am a huge fan, but i live in the u.s so i cant find it anywhere, i also need the english subs, plz if anyone has found a place to whatch it please tell me, the only thing that i can find is the trailers, stupid u.s. cant be diverse enough to put out some simple japanese movies on the internet, lol, but please if u find it tell me

Tina I saw the first of these movies on a JAL flight, with English subtitles, and got halfway though the second movie, and the flight ended!

Does anyone know where or how I can get these movies in the USA (without paying a small fortune) with English subtitles? I'm dying to find out how the story ends.

jandoe Just watched it on the plane few hours ago. Had no idea about the manga (I'm not a manga person) and I've honestly been pretty out of loop with the Jmovie/drama scene, but this movie was surprisingly pretty good. The conflict feels tangible and realistic and the connection between the two earnest. Ikuta Toma doesn't disappoint with his acting and Yuriko is decent too (I personally don't think she's great, but her character is likable here). If you're on the fence; just give it a go! Even as a manga-to-film sort, I think it's pretty decent.

dria.andria Has anyone watched this film? how is it? the poster is really cool by the way :D

Tomoe Nice article. But the release date for We Were There: Part 1 was the 3 march 2012. It's written on the poster ^.^. Well, the 21 april 2012 is the second part release day.

Michelle this one will make cry and i know it i want to watch it I very hopeless romantic

aya well, i'll be waiting for this. BgI will always be my no. 1 fave shojou manga. I'm waiting forr the last chap now and it looks like it'll be a happy ending, thank goodness!!! i hope the movie stays true to the manga. ikuta toma and yuriko yoshitaka playing the lead is already awesome coz i love the two.

Daiana I can't wait for this movie:D

pertamax the trailer seems very promising

yume no mela website is up..

so kawaiii..

can't wait even for the trailer

yume no mela heard that the last manga issue will be distrubuted same time as the part two of the movie.

tsk tsk.. nice marketing!

Toma sama as a kakkoi emo guy!

nyahahaha...

Totem Will wait for this patiently. :)

nana i have been waiting for the books to continue but it looks like the story ended just like that .. looking forward to movie . It doesnt matter how many times i watch it . It still the best romance anime i ever watched . It's old but priceless yet unforgettable .
