Plot
"Warabi no kou" takes place in a mountain village where poverty is a constant and starvation is one bad harvest away. A powerful film, it's hard to watch because you'll find yourself caring for the exiled elders, wanting them to somehow survive in spite of all odds, but all the while knowing they probably won't. Well worth seeing.
