Plot

Wang (Chun-fai Man) was a twelve-year-old child with learning difficulties. He was not mute, but he has never spoken a word. Wang's mother always said that his father had been to a faraway place, claiming that when the plastic flower bloomed, his father would come back. Later, when Wang was six, his mother jumped off from the window of their home and died. Wang thought that his mother had just flown to meet his father.

There were two newcomers to the school: a young unkempt janitor called Dui (Eason Chan), and Miss Cheung (Yuan Lin), a substitute teacher. At the same time, Wang's father was back. Having established his triad organization overseas, he now returned to Hong Kong to expand his power and reunite with Wang. Other triad groups intended to kidnap Wang to threaten his father, and Dui was the assigned kidnapper. However, Wang's father had already arranged a sharpshooter to protect Wang at school. That was Miss Cheung! Without knowing each other's real identities, the three weird people met each other and became good friends, as if they were a family.

The Christmas Show would be held at school soon. The "mute" boy planned to sing a song for Dui and Miss Cheung. Meanwhile, the triad groups changed their plan, and were going to assassinate Wang's father on the day of the Show. In view of this, Dui made his first real decision in his life -- to save and protect Wang's father. When Wang's clear and innocent voice echoed across the campus, the ruthless killing at school between Dui, the killers and Miss Cheung began¡K

Pye-Dog received its theatrical release and pay-per-view TV premiere simultaneously in Singapore. The movie was telecasted on Mei Ah Movie Channel via SingTel's IPTV mio TV on January 10, the same day that it hit Singapore cinemas.
