Plot
Baek Ho Bin (Ahn Sung Ki) left his home to pursue his American Dream, hoping to quickly make it big and bring his wife and kids to America with him. To obtain a green card, he marries Jane (Jang Mi Hee), a Korean herself who went through an unsuccessful marriage with an African-American. She simply lives off this status symbol, making money off her green card through a contract marriage. But while Ho Bin simply sees this relationship as his doorway to a bigger dream, Jane starts falling for him, making things ever more difficult. Bringing Choi In Ho Best Screenplay Awards at the Asian Film Festival and Daejong Film Awards (just a few out of the dozen awards the film won), Deep Blue Night went on to sell 490,000 tickets in Seoul in 1985, an impressive figure at the time. A few months later, Bae shocked the system again with road movie masterpiece, Whale Hunting, once again featuring his muse Ahn Sung Ki in the leading role.

it's one of the best road movie filled with affair and betrayel. Both leading actor and actress made an impressive performance. Indeed, a movie got lot of awards.
