Plot

A medical scientist Tin devotes all his life in exploring the medicine to release human soul in the expense of the time and caring to his family and children. It also led to a few failures in marriage and 8 neglected siblings. Not until the moment he is dying in his deathbed does he feel regret. His last will is to distribute his heritage among his offspring as compensation.

They were brought up by different mothers and have not met each other before. However, owning to the same reason, they group together in their father's old haunted house in which many unusual and weird phenomena is going to occur.

In order to inherit the 100 million fortunes, everyone must stick to the strange rules set by the old man. Under the supervision of Lawyer Cheung (Alex Fong), the 8 siblings must gather and pray in the scary living room at every midnight so as to pay respect to their deceased father. Anyone who is late or absent will lose his/her right of inheritance.

May (Charlene Choi) keeps a remote distance from her boyfriend. She loves money and comes alone to the old house only for the estate. There, she meets the other 7 bizarre brothers and sisters, the schizophrenic Ling (Gillian Chung), the little walker Lik (Raymond Wong), the untainted Park, and also Yi and Leung who brings her daughter Fung-ling along. However, Wu is a very special one with whom May has an astonishing reminiscence which makes her give up the legacy willingly.

One night, when the phantom of Tin returns to the old house, incredible things happen¡K¡K They seem to be cursed by the death. They see Tin's corpse wandering around the haunted mansion. Is he still alive or dead? It really drives them crazy.

Although strange things are happening around, the unfamiliar siblings come closer and closer. They become united and build up a relationship. They recognize that love is incredibly precious and can even fight against evil.

After all those, everything seems to return to the right track. Unexpectedly, May unveils an extraordinary secret.
