Bio
So Yong Kim was born in Pusan, Korea, and grew up in Los Angeles. She was granted an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, was a fellow of the National Endowment for the Arts (MacDowell Colony), recipient of a Puffin Artist Grant, and has won many other artistic awards and accolades. In addition to being a filmmaker, Kim is a musician and artist that has exhibited globally. In Between Days is her feature directorial debut.
