- Ryo Nishikido was formally a member of 2 J-pop groups, Kanjani8 and NEWS. Late 2011 he formally left NEWS, but remained as a member of Kanjani8.
- Talent agency Johnny & Associates announced on September 1st, 2009 that actor Ryo Nishikido was diagnosed with the Type A influenza on August 31, 2009.[1] Ryo Nishikido will not appear in the September 4th airing of "The Dog of Orthros" due to his illness. Fellow band member of "NEWS" Tomohisa Yamashita was also diagnosed with Type A influenza.

I've watched both drama and movie of '1 Litre of Tears'. I like his acting in it, I think he is a good young actor. He is cool :)

I love him. I first saw Ryusei no Kizuna but I didn´t like it very much, also because I didn´t know him neither Nino very much. Later I started listening to News and then I liked him. You should doo the same if you don´t know him ( listen to News first).
His best drama: Last Friends, no doubt.

Love him. But I think this new drama he is making (Othros no Inu) sucks. Seriously, the plot is terrible and none of the actors are well on it.
I loved Last friends (where he played Sousuke), t'is one of the BEST dramas I've ever watched.
To begin knowing him better try watching last friends and ryusei no kizuna.
You should try listening to News.
