Plot
Ataru Katsuragi is sent to prison, convicted for a murder he did not commit. When he learns that his daughter has become gravely ill, he decides to make an escape. Three other inmates join his plan. They have their own different reasons for joining, but they were all convicted of crimes they did not commit. Their escape must take place as soon as possible.
The four men now set out for Tokyo, some 1,000 kilometers from Kyushu. The men are all united in achieving their goal.
