maria My first introduction to Jang Hyuk was in Chuno, a 2010 T.V. drama. I've been trying to follow his acting career ever since. While waiting to see weekly installments of Iris 2, I happened to find this gem of a movie. It reafirms my belief that JH is truly a dynamic actor. I love every role he plays. I never get tired of his performances, and he always brings something new and interesting. JH is one of the greatest Korean actors of this generation! Aja Aja! Fighting!

Mayakho This movies is great. Funny overload. I remember, i was like rotf when all of the class member back with hoarseness..hahahaa

NewKDramaAddict First comedy with Jang Hyuk I have ever seen. I laughed at a few really funny moments! The dreams were funny!

alicia Funny movie! My boyfriend and I thought it was hilarious!

Ki A seriously delightful comedy carried by the charismatic performances by the three main leads, Lee Na-Young (Young-Ju), Hyuk Jang (Moon-Su) and Angela Kelly (Catherine). Obviously the first thing that grabbed my interest was seeing the classroom setting and watching how the students would learn English. Angela Kelly was great as the English Teacher and her rudimentary Korean skills was cute. Lee Na-Young inevitably dominates the movie, no matter how hard the filmmakers tried to make her plain and ordinary, her charm seriously shined through every scene she was in (also some of her lines like "Time Over," "Elvis Never Stop!," "To Be Continued," and "Victoria…Mother hates you…Moon-Su hates..Everybody hates you!" were brilliant!). Please Teach Me English being a Korean comedy of course turned more serious, this time with the theme of a family reunion between an adopted Korean-American girl and her family. Also in the final subway scene, you will hear a great song called "Azalea Flower" sung by Maya. The song ratchets up the melodramatic flair of the subway scene by an infinite degree and provides the lead to a perfect movie ending. Check this one out….
