Plot
Wu-Hsiung Li lives in an abandoned warehouse with his 7 year old daughter Mei in Taiwan. Wu-Hsiung Li survives by taking risky jobs on a boat. Wu-Hsiung then decides its time to enroll his daughter in school, but must first register as her legal father. During this process the government steps in and takes Mei into care. Wu-Hsiung does everything he can to get her back ...

- Based on a true incident of a man unable to register as a girl's father because her mother was already married to someone else when she abandoned the girl.
- Title "No puedo vivir sin ti" is Spanish for "I Can't Live With You".
