Plot
"Love, Masao-Kun Ga Iku" describes the relationship between people and their dogs. Comedian Hideki Matsumoto and a labrador retriever named Masao are selected to appear on the travel corner segment of a TV animal program. Until, Hideki Matsumoto and the labrador retriever Masao become popular, they help each other.

- Based on a true story - TV program "Masao-kun ga iku! Pochitama petto no tabi" ("Itinerant Dog Masao's Trip") featured comedian Matsumoto and a male labrador named Masao.
- Atsuko Maeda of AKB48 sings the movie's theme song "Kimi Wa Bokuda," written by Yasushi Akimoto (producer of AKB48).
