Plot
To exact revenge, the Liar Game office is revived. The target is only one person - Shinichi Akiyama (Shota Matsuda). Because of new heroine Shinomiya (Mikako Tabe), Shinichi, who kept refusing to take part in the game, finds himself in the game. Along with Akiyama, there's 19 other players competing for the prize of 2 billion yen. Omega (Makiko Esumi), who revived the game, plays the game at the Liar Game office with Alice (Mana Ashida). Alice sets up the game, chooses the players and sets the traps.

Their are alot of different opinions up here. Personally I love Nao and Shin' ichi chemistry and I pray they dont get rid of her now don't get me wrong the suspense is beautiful and it always pushes my emotions to the limit but I don't like change alot, sorry. I hope Nao returns to be honest I hope the girl was just a fill in to keep things moving along I night get hate for but its how I feel besides everyone like to mix love with angst its human nature. :) BAHAHAHAHA

Liar Game best movie in my opinion is, when Akiyama vs Katsuragi ..
- They are smart
- Smart plan
- Clever escape
- And full of emotional
so, take Katsuragi back in the next Liar Game.

I have a feeling Tabe-chan has SOMETHING to do with Nao-chan. And this game is going to reveal it all to Akiyama-san. After all, something has to set Akiyama on the edge in the trailer. I actually have high hopes for this movie...

Well I'm not happy that Nao will not be in this movie cuz like I've read somewhere b4, she really is "the heart of the liar game". However what compensates is the new SPEC movie that is also coming soon :D:D:D. But I hope she does make a cameo appearance (as a surprise!!) cuz I really love Nao and Akiyama's Chemistry and I don't think it can be replaceable with the new lead (although I do like the actrice, I just think her relationship wish Akiyama will be different and I don't think she can really replace Nao) Well still excited for both this movie and then new SPEC movie :D

Honestly, this movie is what the "Final" movie should have been. It's pretty close to the continuation of what the story is supposed to be. I think that it's necessary to replace Nao's character because it's the only real way to bring back Liar Game. Though, I'd bet money that the new character will be just like Nao.

In almost all Liar Game Stages, Kanzaki Nao will first screw up the game then Akiyama Shinichi will come up with winning strategies to beat the game.
Can't imagine how this movie plot, Liar Game: Reborn will be without Kanzaki Nao screwing up the game.
Nice to wait for something different this time round.
But I hope more Liar Game will continue after this movie and Kanzaki Nao will be back together with Akiyama Shinichi.

A new Liar Game Mooovie!! Without Nao ( Erika Toda ) :( I personally think that If you film something, please stick with those actors. Like wait till shes done whatever shes doing. O_o Unless its long. Maaaybe they could film one with Mikako Tabe and Once Erika Comes back Film another one. But then again thats a ton of work. I was hoping the next movie would be romance-y but Im Happy if theres a new Liar Game movie at all! I love Toda Erika!! Why must they replace her!! I was so excited when I found out there was another movie. But when I saw she was replaced.. my heart just sank D:
I just love Nao and Shinichi chemistry together in the show. I'm hoping Mikako Tabe will surprise me in this movie.

Why replace Nao?! I love Shinichi and Nao's chemistry even though there's no really romantic scenes. I'm actually expecting they would be developed with each other. Although I love Mikako in Kimi Ni Todoke, awwww, it just felt so wrong. Anyway, I will watch this one NO MATTER WHAT. But try replacing Matsuda Shota and I will definitely BOYCOTT this Liar Game.

well.. when i found out that Liar Game will have a new season, I was sooooo excited... BUT to know that they replaced Nao Kanzaki.. honestly I'm very disappointed!!!!! >,< though Mikako Tabe is my FAVORITE Face(Japanese Actress) I just love Nao and Shinichi's chemistry... but then still I can't wait for this season.. I just hope that they would not put so much changes in the story...

I agree, replacing the main girl of the movie may just be the downfall of this movie. HOWEVER, IF and I mean IF, the movie can come with more exciting games, and MORE unexpected twists, this movie may just survive to live to see its glory just like the other movies/dramas. By the way, try replacing Matsuda Shota and expect the expected for this movie.

okay . i'm kinda looking forward for liar game saisei 2012 . really ! . . BUT
why no toda erika ? why no eri ? why should the KID be part of the organization ? why did they CHANGE the characters ? it would change the whole thing . i mean it would be VERY different . yeah , nao is kinda annoying (not really actually) , but she's part of liar game . it's just like . . ahh !
*luckily tabe mikako and akiyama shinichi are rivals . and very LUCKY they don't change AKIYAMA character or else i'll boycott the show for sure !
better to watch it first . who knows this would be better from another season . but still i feel something wrong to replace NAO . i want nao and akiyama paired !

Okay! As what i have read, Shota and Tabe will be playing as rivals in the game.. now I'm relieved! But I hope they will mention something about what happened to Nao afterwards or something like.. were Nao and Akiyama became lovers? hahaha!
The title for the movie will be "Liar Game -Saisei-". And also, Ashida Mana will be the new member of LGT. She will be the one managing the game, a replacement to Eri. I'm looking forward to it. :)

Arrrrgggghhh.. that's BIG NO NO to replace Kanzaki Nao character with another character! I think in this movie and dorama, Kanzaki Nao is the main character that makes this movie and dorama feel great. Without Kanzaki Nao, it means that without Erika Toda, this movie will be totally different and maybe the audience will feel different with this Liar Game Movie 2.
It seems like the director have to make a great story, plot of the story, backsound and others in this movie to cover the missing thing because of the replacing Kanzaki Nao.
The chemistry between Kanzaki Nao (Erika Toda) and Akiyama (Matsuda Shota) is very appropriate and the audience feel that much like I felt when I watched Liar Game.. It seems like kind an addiction about something, the something's called Liar Game!

I love Matsuda Shota, and Toda Erika is one of my favorite actresses. WHY REPLACE HER?!?!?! I love the combo of Matsuda + Toda together...
It's a little disappointing to know she's not going to be in the movie. I hope they can make it work somehow for Mikako Tabe...
