Plot
"Inferno" centers on the strange case of Satomi Saeki (Fujisawa Ema). Apparently, this graduate student was missing for some time, only to return with a serious case of amnesia. In trying to unravel the intricate secrets behind her disturbing loss of memory, she ends up being drawn to a secluded Christian village. Once in that location, she crosses paths with an unorthodox archaeologist by the name of Reijirou Hieda (Abe Hiroshi, from Hana and Alice and Godzilla 2000).
Eventually these two lost souls end up deciding to join forces and investigate the buried secrets of this dark, enigmatic community. But in carrying out this task, they also discover something that is far beyond their comprehension. But will they survive?
