Plot

A story of a single mother and her daughter in Kagawa Prefecture. Living on welfare, the mother’s only reason for living is her daughter; but the daughter’s only wish is to be freed from her mother. The story depicts the relation between mother and daughter and how they become to accept one another. --NHK
