Notes
- "Kanna's Big Success!" is based off of the Japanese manga "Kannasan Daiseikou Desu!" by Yumiko Suzuki.
- The 2006 South Korean comedy 200 Pounds Beauty is also based off the same Japanese comic.
- While 200 Pounds Beauty was a romantic comedy, the Japanese version will focus more on Kanna's relationship with her friend Kabako, played by comedian Shizuyo Yamazaki aka Shizu-chan of Nankai Candies.
- The idea for an adaptation came up three years ago.
- The story will be animated up until Kanna's plastic surgery, after which the film changes entirely to live-action.
