Plot
Megumi Kanno (Hiromi Nagasaku) takes a teaching position at Soyokaze Academy on Yakushima Island. The school's students ranges in age from their teens all the way up to their fifties - all of whom students could not attend regular school due to personal issues. Some of Megmumi's students include Madoka Sakurai (Rio Yamashita) - a young teen who has slashed her wrists repeatedly due to school bullying, Tooru Nihmi (Sosuke Ikematsu) - a young man who has failed to pass his entrance exams for the top universities, fashionista Yukari Kuramochi (Rei Okamoto), gardner Hirokazu Ushijima (Tsuyoshi Hayashi), and middle aged Osamu Hasegawa (Masayuki Imai).
Notes
- Filming was halted from October 4th- to October 10th, 2009 when a typhoon hit Yakushima Island.
