Plot

Haru Hoshino (Saki Fukuda) was born with common traits from both male and female sexes. Haru did not have a sexual reassignment surgery as a child. Since an early age Haru has been raised as a boy, but during Haru's teen years must now be raised as a girl ...

Based on the manga series "IS: Otoko demo Onna demo nai Sei" by Chiyo Rokuhana (first published in 2003).
"IS" stands for "Intersexual" - a person or animal born where there sex is ambiguos (usually born with common traits from both male and female sexes).

This is one of the best dramas i've ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it's different and better than the manga! it's very moving and realistic. Great performance by both Fukuda Saki and Gouriki Ayame!
