As he dreams a small mountain village of the Himalayas, he wakes up. He goes to Sham's funeral home. He asks people of a human rights organization in charge of the funeral arrangements to take Sham's ashes to his family in Nepal. As Kim arrives in Zomsom, mountain region in Nepal, asks around about Sham's home. He leaves for Jharkot with a map and a bag. Kim walks long, dry and winding roads. Climbing highlands, he suffers from nasal haemorrhage and headache because of mountain sickness. As Kim gives Sham's ashes to the first sister of Sham's, Sunita, she gulps down tears, but runs to a hill outside, and cries out loud in sorrow. Sunita asks Kim not to tell her families about Sham's death. While Kim stays a night in Sham's, he suffers from serious illness from fatigue and stomach-ache. He stays more under Sunita's careful nursing.

Kim accompanies Sunita, who sells wild honey (found in the crevices of rocks). As they travel around for selling wild honey, they starts having a good feeling for each other. I'm Nepalese too. I think this movie should be promoted in Nepal so that people can see how other countries portray Nepal. I hope this movie works out well and I hope that people in Korea get to Nepal better....and yup it's true that the teenagers are now tired of bollywood movies and they are more into Korean stuffs. That includes me keke.....

@ Beetle Yeah I too found out about this movie when I read that Kibum of SuJu had gone on the press conference of the movie (so glad that Kibum went there. I wish he would take his DBSK buddies to watch the movie with him *dreams*). I didn't say that the "uncool" thing follows to everyone, I had clearly mentioned that it is in our school and don't know about others. Seriously, bollywood movies are only popular in city areas and places at the border. And I don't think only people of those areas is considered the population of the country. You were born in Singapore, right? So I'm guessing you are still staying there. As for me, I was born in Hongkong but I had come here at the age of 2 and since been living here. Don't take it the other way but I've spent 15 years of my life here so I know quite a lot about what portion of population watches bollywood movies.

And I think the cast beside the lead are all Nepalese. Well I'm sure about the female lead. I forgot her name but she is a Gurung. As for the location yes the movie was filmed in Nepal. I too hope this movie turns out great (and secretly hope that it would benefit the tourism industry of our country :D)

This movie was shot mostly in in Nepal. The film is directed by Soo-il Jeon, known for his indie/arthouse films and early word has this movie being calm, slow-paced, & introspective. Don't expect a lot of action but if you are patient I think it looks promising. Two early reviews for the film :

Im a Nepalese! But i didnt even know about this movie till i saw news about Super Junior's Kim Bum had watched this movie. Gee, are the actors/actressess besides the main guy all Nepalese and was it shot in Nepal? And to Nepali girl, actually i think it IS true that almost more than half the population watch Hindi movies. I'm a Singapore born Nepalese and yet i do watch some Hindi movies. And i dont find it "uncool". Anway i hope this movie turns out great.

@ gal......I don't think 99 percent Nepalese watch bollywood movies well actually I'm quite sure about it. First thing only people from city areas and from plains understand Hindi and second thing most of the youth in cities (teenagers like myself and people in their mid-twenties) watch Hollywood movies and Korean, Japanese and Chinese movies. I'm a typical teenager and I swear I've never watched a Bollywood movie (maybe just some glimpses) and that goes for my friends too. To tell you the truth (no offense to Indians and Bollywood) if teens are found to be watching bollywood movies and singing bollywood songs they are considered uncool by their peers (I don't know about others but it is true in our school). but it's not the reason I don't watch bollywood movies it's just that they really are not of my taste and I can't take a movie for 3 hours with all those out-of-nowhere popping songs. Sorry for my really long comment.

Yeah well Korean movies are really popular in Nepal........actually among the teens. But the Korean movies most popular are romantic comedies and this looks like a serious movie. But I'm gonna watch it cause it is about Nepal. I hope this movie portrays Nepal in a good way........not like other movies *cough*bollywood*cough*, which portrayed our country nothing more than a poor, under-developed third world country.
