Plot
Kim Woo-Hyun (So Ji-Sub) is the only son of a high ranking police officer. Woo-Hyun entered the police academy ranked first and graduated from the academy ranked first. As a detective, he then joins the cyber investigation department. Woo-Hyun then works to reveal the secrets of those that hide within the cyber world.

Kim Woo-Hyun leads the cyber investigation team and works to take down an illegal international gambling website. South Korea, Hong Kong and China all cooperate to arrest those involved with the website at the same time. When Kim Woo-Hyun and his team raid the location of the site, the data is destroyed by a program set up by Hades. Nevertheless, Kim Woo-Hyun and his team uses a traceroute to locate Hades.
Meanwhile, an online rumor spreads about a sex scandal involving popular actress Shin Hyo-Jung (Esom). Shin Hyo-Jung leaves the message "I want to die" on her twitter account and then kills herself by jumping out of her apartment. Kim Woo-Hyun and Detective Yoo Gang-Mi (Lee Yeon-Hee), still following the path of Hades, arrives at the actresses apartment and takes her laptop, which Hades hacked.
In the basement parking lot, Detective Yoo Gang-Mi runs into Reporter Park Gi-Young (Daniel Choi). Park Gi-Young asks Detective Yoo Gang-Mi if she is sure actress Shin Hyo-Jung's last tweet was indeed posted by the actress herself? There seems to be a rumor that her last tweet was not actually posted by herself. Detective Yoo Gang-Mi later checks actress Shin Hyo-Jung's laptop and discovers that the tweet was not posted from her laptop. The cyber investigation team now believes another person may have been there when the actress died.
Meanwhile, Detective Kwon Hyuk-Joo (Kwak Do-Won) also investigates the death of actress Shin Hyo-Jung. A TV announcement is then made by Detective Kwon Hyuk-Joo's boss (against the advice of Detective Kwon Hyuk-Joo) that actress Shin Hyo-Jung killed herself. Suddenly, the TV video feed cuts to actress Shin Hyo-Jung falling out of her apartment. Cyber investigation team leader Kim Woo-Hyun, using his computer near a large building, chases Hades who cut into the TV announcement video feed. Finally, Kim Woo-Hyun catches Hades on the subway. Kim Woo-Hyun is shocked when he learns that Hades is his ex-roommate at the police academy Park Gi-Young and now reporter. Park Gi-Young insists that he did not kill actress Shin Hyo-Jung. He states that he received an email a week ago, promising him a large sum of money if he finds the phantom file which actress Shin Hyo-Jung possesses. He also says the real killer wore a watch having a world map and then runs from Kim Woo-Hyun.

I like this drama but being another Daniel Choi fan, I wish he would have remained in this somehow. I think,for me, it would have been more realistic if they had dubbed in Daniel's voice after he became Woo-Hyun.

Hades- a cool hacker, Jo Hyun Min- a son who really love his father so he become a misterious killer to revenge his father's death. Whooaa, even he role an antagonist in this drama, I love the way he smile, Uhm Ki Joon is good in acting!! ^o^

Thrilling drama! Excellent acting - the "bad guy" character played by Uhm Ki-Joon and the "Kwon Hyuk-Joo" character really stand out here, although "Yoo Gang-Mi" looked a little stiff... Was hoping for a bit more romance between "Gang-Mi" and "Woo-Hyun" in the last episode...but overall a must-watch!

Im not Choi Daniel fan like someone 's here trying to say to validate their own reasoning.I simply stated the fact, So Ji Subs fails to portray park ki young, he literally sucks ...he has about 2 to 3 expressions on his face and its damn irritating...and who said to be cutesy and all, just being genuine playing the character is all i 'd like to see.

A good script and good show. Chemistry on the relationship is less compare to other show but is brand new idea of script, love it.
You will feel the tension in each episode where you won't known how the story line goes up until the next episode on air. This detective fiction which also awake my brain to solve the case through reasoning behind this story line. Meanwhile it also portray the network criminal in your real life. Through this Phantom, i think people start to take more precaution on network system right now.
However, as my view this also meas that hacker intelligent will also upgrade throughout this show.

I love this drama. They've made to be more careful of what we do regarding internet usage. When you start watching the first episode, you can't help but watch it until the very end. Hail to the actors for portraying their characters well, and to all those behind this drama. And to the writer/s, you great! More dramas like this. :)

So Ji Sub's plays the character very well. The story doesn't require him to be jolly-and-cutesy-and-all, he's in a situation that needs him to be serious. His facial expression might look like he's worried all the time, but hey, he's still hot! Plus, with those kind of people around him and his situation as Woo Hyun, Gi Young's past character can't be materialized. SJS's acting is just PERFECT for the drama. =) All the casts are Great! And i hope that Gi-Young will end up dating Kang-Mi. =)

I can't wait for the last two eps! omggg. only two more hours of ghost and it'll be over. I'll miss this drama so much!! I'm waiting to see the ending, if it'll be good then i'll make this my BEST drama of the year :D
Every second of this drama is intense, LOVE IT! For the last two eps, i kinda want some more romance between SJS and LYH♥ Otherwise, I've made my decision to trust the director of this drama to make a good ending. From episode 1 till now, the plot and character development are perfect; the casts are all good. I'm telling y'all, Ghost is AMAZING! xD I'm a fan of romcom but i helplessly became obsessed with Ghost :) If anyone out there is debating whether to try this drama, i say TRY IT!!
And to Daniel Choi's fans, yes, im one of you guys haha. i was disappointed at first that i didnt get to see him around anymore after ep 1, so i went and watched his other dramas so i could see him more often xD I've only watched Baby-faced Beauty and so if you guys miss him just do what i did :P

for those who are saying st*pid things about changing face... O.o are you pretending or you don't know that TODAY'S MEDICAL CENTRES CAN MAKE EXACT COPY OF FACE OR BODY FOR ANY PERSON..?
so its nothing so miracleous for PKY (daniel choi) to become KWY (So Ji SUb) ! its common thing that if he wanted to live he needed some card in pocket by pretending to be KWY.

THIS DRAMA IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! great story, interesting plot! full of meaning episodes and situations. the actors, music, atmosphere - GREAT!
but I really couldn't understand that careless action of forgeting USB O...o they knew in the Police STation were spies since Kim Woo Hyun also told Park Ki Young about accomplices.. and to forget USB T_T reallly..
I was SOO AFRAID that G.O and Byung Sang-Woo were bad guys >...< aww but my favourites were good ones <3 LIKE THEM soo much ...o since that thing with thoe sheets it was also during the time when Gang-Mi was in school so who was guilty then? since for those case that girl was killer? since I thought the main suspect would be some teacher who is long in the school and can spread such rummors during generations of students, also be the guilty one, since each year those accidents were happening... but aside of that, the plot of the story is amazing!
also about that school system in Korea.. its reallllly tooo much o...O like some robots.. the teachers should give advances to students and to not keep young ones of enjoying the ife and having fun and study together *.* cheonmal..

Comparing the present airing dramas, I find this one much better than others!!! With a totally different plot, not just among the preset dramas but among all the K dramas I've seen up to now. I personally recommend it to everyone to see especially if they find mystery genre fascinating.

Great drama so far, especially if you're a fan of crime and mystery. Nice plot, dialogue, and intriguing characters. There's a twist happening in every episode which makes you doubt yourself. The female lead isn't annoying at all. She's not perfect and makes mistakes, but she can handle herself.
[SPOILER] My only problem with this is how I don't think So Ji Sob plays Gi Young. It seems like he's Woo Hyun all the time because there are no drastic character differences. He acts nothing like how Choi Daniel portrayed Gi Young. So yeah, that was a pretty big disappointment.

Before i watched this drama I strightly thought what G.O will do with his hair color and I wanted him to have a black hair and he did!!But it would be cooler if he wore nerdy glasses like in the song I Don't Know and I think I would have liked his character more, more than I like him now!!!!

**SPOILER ALERT!**
I waited for months to see So Ji Sub in this new drama! SOOOoooo excited when it finally came on.. and then... HUH?!? Do they (PD, writers) really expect us - the viewing audience - to believe that Daniel Choi's character somehow "becomes" SJS's character?!?!? How do they explain his exact replica face? It's just too stupid! Or they think WE are too stupid! Get REAL! I'm disappointed because I had high hopes for this drama and it started letting me down right off the bat. :-( I'll keep watching because I love SJS, but I keep wondering how he came to choose this particular project? Why?! Didn't he read the script?!? I've also been watching I Do, I DO and love both leads, but dang! It's like they are trying too hard to be clever & glib and it makes me "aware" that they are actors acting - the kiss of death for any drama. Boo hoo.... Bridal Mask is too violent for me. Stopped watching that one due to the cruelty at every turn. Sigh.
