This is basically a postmodern pastiche of Chunking Express. Like that film this focuses on two stories - stories of First Love - one on its discovery and the other its painful legacy coming back with a bite years on. Highly experimental, self-referential and 100% esoteric, this is defintely not for everyone, but there is a strange surrealistic poignance to the film - especially the epilogue. The visuals are beyond stunning: Chris Doyle at is experimental best.
I think this is a masterpiece personally: a perfect crystalisation of the hyper-kinetic experimetal tendencies of HK cinema
But yes - definitely not for everyone. Your average Rom-Com fan would probably hate this with a passion :D
An absolute must-see for fans of Chungking Express and experimental cinema in general.

Yesterday I watched the movie and I was wondering: what is it? What's it about? I think : Takeshi is to regret that took on the role . Terrible bad movie.

ummm.. I would call this a very experimental movie, tho I hardly would believe anyone could love. Still it can leave you with an impression. For me it was an utter disappointment. I was hoping for a nice movie with Takeshi Kaneshiro and mostly I got a stupid director narrating every little thought or feeling that the characters would have. I got so annoyed and bored by the non existing entertainment in this and decided to do dishes instead...
I recommend you to stay far far far away from this garbage (sorry for the language, and sorry Takeshi that you starred in this).
