Plot
'Emperor of the Sea' is 50-episode drama based on the Choi In-ho's novel of the same title. The drama depicts the life of Jang Bo-go (?~846), who dominated the sea of the East Asia and international trade during the Unified Shilla Dynasty (676~935).
Jang Bo-go also eliminated pirates by installing Cheong-Hae-Jin on Wando, which is a geographically important sea route. Likewise he erected the order of the marine trade in East Asia from Dang(China) and Japan to the North China sea.

i like the story its very good but i dont feel the leading actor i dont know maybe bcoz i just finish jumong so my level of expectation is high cuz i just dont feel him he looks like a father to the leading actress and the way he act hes always trying to be cute but he lokks as hell as ugly and hes too old for the girl cant even watch it when they are showing they like each other its like father and daughter makes me puke.should have choosen a better leading actor cuz your supporting actor is too good(im talking about yeom moon)makes the leading actor look like shit but all in all story is great.

I missed 3 episodes (turned out to be 76 total episodes here) and have 23 on tape to catch up on
I knew this show would be excellent once I saw the lead character (same guy who played Dae JoYoung)

i like this korean movies since i watched jumong and the alike. These actor make me feel as i was at the place of battle field. I like the words which are used,they are so colorful
