Plot
Takako has been witness to many human dramas through working on cases involving domestic crises, maturing as a person in the process. Now she's developed quite a reputation as a lawyer and is much sought for both business and domestic cases. In the midst of these developments, Takako suddenly receives a case investigation request from Haruka Yabuki (Naoko Iijima), a woman she used to fight like cats and dogs with during their school days. Haruka has a one-year old child, but the father disappeared immediately after the birth. She claims that the father is Yuki Kijima (Manabu Oshio), who is now a big movie star with roles in foreign films. But what's the true story? Takako heads off for New York, where Kijima lives, to find out the truth.
